Pero im still sticking with my lpg toyota gli lovelife, converted it at 110thou km mileage and now its nearing 180k mileage. Thats 70thou km and 4yrs on pure lpg and problem free operation.
Converted our 2007 Altis at 10,000kms. Mileage is now 115,000kms and it still runs well also; we warm up on gas then switch to lpg in optimal operating temp. Had to change the vaporizer once as well.

I have converted to LPG a Nissan Sentra 1990 carbureted. It lasted only 2 years then my carburetor failed, stopped working with Gasoline, LPG only. I had to replaced the carb so I bi-fuel will be possible. It seems that LPG is too hot for the carburator parts.

Based on what I have read, carbureted vehicles are not suitable for LPG conversion as well as diesel engines.

    Hi Sir,
I'm new to LPG powered cars.
May I know if we can fill it up by using LPG that we use in the house and is there an adaptor or kit that we can put on the LPG tank to fill up the car?
Because there are no LPG stations in our province.
    Thanks.

    Roundhead,
You can't use your kitchen lpg. These are not well-refined for car use. If auto-lpg are not available in you immediate vicinity, maybe you'ii have to defer your upgrade plans.

cng and lpg vehicles are dangerous and is only recommended for third world countries. pls see: ajitvadakayil.blogspot.com oct 4, 2015. lpg taxi drivers suffer from a deadly lung disease.

Either you believe it, or you dont.

Dangerous kung me leak lang .... With proper install and proper maintenance no problems naman.

Anyway my experience with lpg e good and bad i guess ... Have experienced leaks twice ... And all sorts of problems with my altis .... Although i can't blame all the problems to lpg kit as my car is aging na din.

So many times ako na mismo nakakahuli ng problema.... Karamihan ng shop they know how to install pero pag sa troubleshooting medyo sablay na.

Encountered problems as simple as wires na naluluto na pala ng engine ... Dami beses ko pabalik balik ... in the end ... I figured it out on my own.

Anyway bye bye na ko sa Lpg .... Diesel na lang ako ngayon less problems.

If you already are on gasoline and have the patience to maintain an lpg kit .... It might be worthit ... The system itself is not too complicated .... At least sa sgi kit na gamit ko .... Basically switching lang ng injectors lpg or gasoline.

    Hello

Hello; new member here. Would anyone know where I can have my LPG-converted Honda Civic EF hatchback 1991 RECONVERTED back to gas-powered? The conversion to lpg was done by SKN in Makati but they have long closed shop. Initially I could run it on both gas and lpg but had the gas shut off. I live in Muntinlupa area. hope you guys can point me in the right direction. I want the lpg system removed and reconverted back to original gas powered. Thanks and more power

    Try this http://xoomautogaz.com/
They are located in Timog, QC. I believe they are the 'last man standing' in terms of Auto LPG Conversion.

Anyone converted a V8 with an lpg kit? Which kit did you use? Any problems / issues after long term use? Hope to hear from you and thanks in advance.

If LPG was so good back then, why are there no more (or very little) LPG cars on the road left?

    1. Service support is limited.
    2. People have adjusted to the cost of fuel which has been consistent, while the purchasing power of the Pinoy consumer is better. In 2008 we saw fuel hikes in crises levels which enticed a lot to use LPG.

Our 2007 Altis still runs on LPG to this very day. It's been used by my brother and he's happy as the fuel cost savings is still good for him (as he's just starting up). The car still runs well on either gas or LPG and it's tuned by Xoom perhaps once a year.

I've seen Xoom convert and E150 wherein the owner put two large tanks in the rear; That must have been around 130L to 150L worth of LPG that could be loaded.
