I simply recommend XOOM more these days because of their better service and diagnostics with LPG quirks.

I am answering someone's question for the BEST place to have his car fitted with an Auto-LPG kit. Even with that said, it doesn't limit him to going to XOOM only. IF he reads the thread, he can also see Greenfuel was one of the recommended places as well.

Yes, you can still go to Greenfuel for LPG servicing and installation. I've been going to Xoom lately because of its closer proximity to my house, they do have good diagnostic equipment and Nick is there to personally supervise (just schedule with him beforehand). At Greenfuel, Warren is equally as helpful however due to his tight business schedules, it can be hard to catch him at times but he always will keep his phone open to reply to customers. I'm a happy customer with both installers.

I'll be getting a new car soon and just as with my Altis, after i break it in and run around 10,000 to 15,000kms, i'll be converting it to LPG as well.

i have an innova sgi kit installed by greenfuel in August 2011. still under warranty until 2013 (extended warranty on labor only). can i bring it with Xoom autogas (timog area) for tune-up, check-up, repairs if necessary since its more easily accessible from my place. although their kits are good, greenfuel nowadays apparently does not fare well on aftersales services, as you need to have an appointment first even for just simple emergency check ups which could take several days. which also means in the meantime, you will either driving on expensive gas for several days, or uneasy driving on lpg not knowing whats wrong with your kit. if i can, how much will be the going rate for labor and/or parts if needed? thanks in advance.

Drop Nick/Xoom a Private Message. Yes, they are able to service Greenfuel kits as the software their kits carry is similar compatible to what GF uses.

P39.20! Ouch. Diesel, P44; unleaded P55 *cleanfuel quirino.

Para di ot. Ever since, tiger lpg(maceda cor. Blumentritt) ako refill as it is closer to my place. First time ko sa cleanfuel quirino ave. With no tuning yet done, napansin ko nag iba ang accelleration. Gumanda ang hatak, even sa incline. I readily felt the difference, its at par or even better than gas!

Maybe cleanfuel has precise octane contents as advertised. Which translates to better mileage per liter. Tingin niyo mga masters?

I thought protected ng government ang price ng lpg from other consumer products dahil basic commodity at ginagamit ng ordinary pinoys. Parang hindi na din, nakikisabay narin sa big3. Nangunguna pa nga sa rate of increase, halos pumarehas na sa diesel. Wala nadin halos incentive to be 'greener' on lpg. Parang inutil naman yata ang gobyerno sa mga hinaing ng mga nakararaming 'boss'. Just my observation.

The government cannot regulate prices if the cost of supply has gone up. It is a loosing proposition for everyone if you think the government will subsidize the retail price of fuel.

Lets just be all realistic with the situation.

pansin ko na din sa tiger fuel yan,, ambilis maubis at parang hirap humatak ang makina. tapos whenever i change fuel station,ok naman ang takbo.

i think madali dayain ang lpg content ng tanke nila. they can just add any inert gas sa mixture by using any high presure supply. nobody will notice. lalu na kung taxi driver ang gagamit na walang sinabi kundi.reklamo regarding lpg.

Dati may issue ako sa CleanFuel being oily, but since last year maganda na ang LPG ng CleanFuel Naka 3000+ Points na nga ako eh malapit ko na maredeem yung pinakamataas nilang reward either yung Microwave of LCD TV. Nagiba na ng supplier ang CleaFuel dahil sa complaint in previous years of oily LPG, this according to CleanFuel Commonwealth.

Pero isa pang taas ng LPG, balik pure gasoline na ulit ako, ang palagi kong Fuel cost saving reference is LPG Price x 1.2 less or equal Gasoline Price.

    ???

govt never controlled the price of LPG

if govt controlled the pric eof LPG nobody would sell LPG

if govt set a price for LPG and the cost (puhunan) of LPG is near, equal, or above the govt set price di nalang sila magbebenta ng LPG (no LPG to buy is worse than having expensive LPG)

Just acquired an A33 Cefiro with 40L LPG tank. Did all the fluid changes but I noticed it consumes a lot of LPG. Approx 4km/l. What needs to be checked?

Maybe it's just the large engine (3.0L V6)? You can have the LPG system checked with it's installer. IF the air/fuel setting is on the rich side it could explain your car's gas guzzling ways.

BTW, what is your normal daily route from home to work, etc? How heavy is the traffic?

Medyo maliit yung tank niya for a V6 engine. Most biggies use a 65 (or 70/80L?) tank.

I'd suggest a complete tune up of the kit first. The 2.0 V6 Cefiro does around 6km/L+ at the average in Metro Manila traffic before.

Sampaloc area to Roxas Blvd. Mostly moderate traffic. Just had the MAF, TB and plugs checked. They're all ok.

Try getting some highway driving as well to observe your FC. The case with my Altis, i average between 9.5 to 10.5km/L in city driving, the same as my gasoline figures however in highway driving, i'd get around 10.5 to 11.5km/L with LPG as against 13km/L to 16km/L with gasoline. When Xoom checked out my tuning, he saw that i was basically stoich in the low rpm range and running rich at the high rpm range so we would have to work on tuning that.

Thanks. BTW I insisted to spray some contact cleaner on the MAF and Carb Cleaner on the T/B. There was a slight improvement in engine response. Hopefully an improvement in FC. But I'll definitely need to have the LPG system tuned. Its an SGI kit BTW.

Update: Found out that the car has no thermostat installed. It takes a while for the engine to warm up. Will install a thermostat today...
