After over half-a-year of being offline... (tsikot.yehey.com pa nga ang nasa bookmark ko eh).

My EROOM closed loop kit conked out just recently after over 3 years of service. It will switch to LPG from gas, but cannot idle anymore. Once you lift your foot from the gas pedal, engine stalls straightaway. But if you keep your foot down, LPG can sustain the engine, but at over 2000rpm.

Buti na lang sir bigfootoz is now back with Denso, and they can again service EROOM on a best-efforts basis. Denso's technician, Lito, still has his LPG game on, and traced the problem back to a solenoid valve on the vaporizer. Unfortunately, they do not have parts to replace the solenoid valve only. I had to purchase the entire vaporizer. Fortunately, meron pa rin spare si bigfootoz na dalawang EROOM vaporizers. Replaced vaporizer and problem solved. Thank you bigfootoz and Lito of Denso.

Sana Xoom can help me replace the solenoid valve only, para meron ako spare vaporizer at hand.

Before fixing the issue, they advised that I should have my throttle body cleaned first, so I went to Phoenix Marcos Highway to have Leonard of Motor Doctor work on it. Lots of soot cleaned out. Launch diagnostics reveals no other issues.

Next project is to get my Revo's gas tank and fuel lines cleaned up, and fuel filter replaced. I went back to gas for a whole week while LPG was dead, and I could feel na parang sakal yung gas. Meron lag. Feeling drive by wire ang Revo ko.

Where did you have your fuel lines cleaned? Did they flush out the gas lines with a solvent? My car runs great on lpg but can't seem to keep the engine running when on gas. I already replace the fuel pump, fuel filter and distributor, cleaned the intake manifold, changed the spark plugs but the problem still persists. Parang nalulunod pag gas gamit ko hanggang mamamatay nalang yung makina. I was thinking baka yung fuel lines nagbara na din.

How old is your gasoline? And what gasoline do you have in your tank? (Shell Unleaded? Caltex Silver?, etc)

My gas normally lasts for about 1-2 months between refills of P500. I usually put Shell Premium. I'm really having a hard time with my engine. A mechanic told me recently that this is because of the LPG that destroys the pistons. I'm not sure if he's just discouraging me with my kit or if he's really telling the truth.

In a way he is correct but only IF your LPG kit was set improperly. Taxi drivers somethings adjust the LPG settings to be too-lean, resulting in long term damage to the engine.

As long as your air-fuel ratio in LPG and gasoline are within the correct range, your engine will do fine.

BTW, I use either TOTAL PROTEC or PETRON BLAZE in my gas tank. Lasts more than four-five months and still runs smooth.

In my case, my metal fuel line between the tank and engine was clogged almost solid. I had my tank cleaned out but the metal fuel line under the car had to be replaced because the dirt inside has practically solidified. Before it was replaced, my car had a hard time maintaining high revs.

This could be the same with your car.

This is exactly what I am thinking of. I had almost everything that is gas related checked and replaced worn out parts and still the same behavior. The metal fuel lines underneath may have been clogged for a while so my engine's idle is very erratic. Even a 1500 rpm is difficult to sustain. I tried pressing the gas pedal about halfway and the engine would still have a hard time revving. It would sometimes gradually rev up to 3000-4000 rpm as if getting enough fuel and then slowly go back to its erratic idling.
