I agree w/ webmeister. I am very happy with my experience with Green Autogas. In fact, we had our 6 cylinder gas guzzling Toyota Crown converted as well. Now, we use it often. Their LPG price is also very competitive. Too bad Mindanao Ave is a bit out of my way.

Anyway I think if they take off the freebies there is still room to lower price by about Php20-Php30 per fill up.

Based on DOE's previous announcement we should see auto-lpg hitting Php21/ltr.
Yes. It's better if they cut off all the frills and pass on the best price to consumers. (Cebu Pacific model)

I was quite surprised with this. Is there any problem or danger with this?

When this happens, I will normally retry for 2 to 3 times pero ganun pa rin. So, I just run on gasoline until I reach home. But the next morning, ok na naman. Any ideas? Air filter related kaya yun?
Call me or better yet bring car over so we can check if it is your filter. Try cleaning it first and let me know what happens

Hello BigMike. I'm told that you have an APV converted. Can you upload pics in your Greenfuel website?

How much is the conversion job? Hindi ka ba na-ilang fueling both gas & lpg in the same station?

Am I correct that the system will switch to gas if the lpg side goes empty?

Depending on the vehicle, the Vogas system does answer some things that 100% LPG systems can't. This includes some rough running conditions with some engine models. It also answers the concern of other people of valve lubrication (although with most cars already designed to run on unloaded gasoline, does it really make a big difference?).

I was planning to use LPG for my subaru forester turbo. I inquired at ambient and have yet to get a reply up to now. Stargas declined already as their system will not work on my vehicle. Subaru UK does not recommend fitting it on the forester turbo 09 but fits n/a versions. Ano kaya reason? May mga makukulit sa Australia, ok naman daw. But bottom line is, they used flash lube on thier engines to lubricate and prevent premature wear.

Bakit wala nag install ng flash lube locally? My local distributor but have yet to see them tie up with the lpg installers. No such this as hardened valves di ba. Mag wear and tear yan with LPG use faster than using gasoline.

From what I know, none of the local auto-lpg conversion shops has converted a factory turbocharged engine. It is theoretically the same as a normally aspirated engine but it seems no one has the hands on experience of doing one.

As for hardened valves, actually there is such a thing. If you are running on unleaded gasoline, your engine has hardened valves and valve seats already.

Vogas might have the solution for you with their LPG/gasoline part-time system.

i usually fill up my gas ones a month. every week kasi ako nga fill up ng lpg. sometimes i forgot to check my gas gauge empty na pala.

    Hello,

I had a similar experience sa Petron Sucat naman....
one time i filled up.....38Liters na pumping pa din sya...parang energizer...keeps on going...
(natakot ako baka mag-over pressure....e sumabog)
so i ask the gasoline boy to manually stop the filling because
my tank is only 40L; and usually gets filled between 32-34liters lang.....

I gauged my mileage for that fill....sadly same mileage on my regular route... parang nag pa karga lang din ako ng 32Liters....

Ano yun, did i pay extra for the pressure or may hangin ba sya or what???....

The problem why nobody wants to do the Forester, MFB, is that the current state of injectors for LPG kits aren't as good as the best gasoline injectors.

Your car might push the limits of the duty cycle of the LPG kit injectors and may require an auxiliary bank of injectors to compensate... something which most shops cannot tune or program.

In this case, the VOGAS system may work for you... they can program the kit so that when your car comes on boost, a percentage of gas is thrown into the mix, to give safer operation.

Otherwise, you can try getting the Greenfuel kit from Speedlab, and see if they can tune around the problem by fiddling with the overboost settings of the LPG kit, reprogramming a larger kit (for 3 liter or V8 engines) to run with your car, or tuning two kits to run in tandem on the car.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

    Hello guys,
need help. i notice today i have a lpg leak sa engine bay, the leak is coming from the solenoid (tama ba?) the thing with 2 tubings and a grounding wire on the top. after i switch off the engine and open the hood i saw, hear and smell the lpg coming out at the bottom part not from the 2 tube fittings?

upon checking i saw a nut (like a 10mm in size) i tried to call greenfuel but was able to talk to Lorna only. can i just tighten the nut a bit to seal the leak? at the moment im not using my lpg. inputs is highly appreciated. Thanks a lot.
