you might like to check out some LPG turbo installations at:

there are also quite a few turbo installations at Gas Research Australia.....

if you'd care to google them.

Actually, turbo or supercharging increases the volumetric efficiency of LPG and works quite well. I am toying with the idea of supercharging my old MB200 which is already running a venturi mixer. The supercharger will work very well in "suck-through" mode using a conventional carburetor and mixer.

    just some thoughts too......

Long time no hear from you...

One major item I am fearing with a venturi mixer with a turbo is the chance of pre-igniting the fuel-air charge before it reaches the cylinders. That is why I was thinking of SGI kits as a better option than mixer type LPG kits.

There is a conversion system for diesel but it requires that LPG just to offset the use of diesel. So the engine will use diesel & LPG at the same time. Performance is increased, emissions much cleaner and overall fuel cost will go down.

Sabi po nung installer skin, meron din daw po LPG kit for diesel engine.....

mas mahal nga lang po compared to Gas Engine (Php ~80K ),

And as what ser GH mentioned....mixed po ang fuel for Diesel engine
    (70/30; 70% diesel with 30% LPG)......

not really that viable....unless you are looking at reducing your emission.

thanks po sir. agree with you its not viable. imo its more practical to buy a gas fed tsikot and have it converted to LPG than buying a diesel fed car. ive heard lpg kits for gaso cars are down to 20-30k (although depending to the car).. hmm tempting maybe its just for sedans/ hatchbacks. but still its a good price.
