Congratulations on your new Diesel Ride sir. :D This guide though written by Mitsubishi is applicable to all vehicle brands and makes both gas and diesels.
Mitsubishi Periodic Service Maintenance Menu:
The Periodic Service Menu serves as your guide for your Mitsubishi vehicle maintenance schedule. It indicates the type of service classification that will be done on your vehicle at certain kilometer readings.
It is highly recommended that you bring your Mitsubishi vehicle to authorized service dealers for a periodic maintenance check up. Mitsubishi vehicle warranty is up to 50,000 kilometers for passenger cars/AUVs and 20,000 kilometers for Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs). Complying with the regular periodic check up is more economical in the long run as it prevents early breakdown, thereby extending the life of your vehicle.

May 30th, 2003 12:20 PM #3there are lesser problems in driving a diesel thru floods, kasi you don't have distributor, ignition/spark plug wires, spark plugs to contend w/
as for the a/t, ok din yun kasi sealed yung transmission mo, so h2o won't get it, kaya gas and breaks ka lang, just be sure to step on your gas a little kung mababa menor mo para hindi tumirik
How much are you selling you rav4?

Tignan mo how high the dipstick and the breather of the a/t is. Minsan nipple lang ito on the side of the tranny that needs to be extended with a rubber hose.

wulf,
Just look at the transmission, if you see any tube or hose that just goes nowhere (ends in the atmosphere) then yun ang breather.
I followed the breather on my brother's Sentra. It stopped beside the brake master cylinder.
