Would there be a point where the world would start going down the drain like in the MAD MAX movies? Where people kill other motorists just for the gasoline in their fuel tank?

ilang beses sya dati na feature sa magandang gabi bayan etc about his invention but sadly, ayaw sya suportahan ng ating government.

pagkakatanda ko Corolla GLi AE101 facelifted pa nga yung kotse nya eh color red.

Daniel Dinggel ata or something that rhymes ang name nya. sayang kase yung invention nya. dapat mag tayo na lang sya ng conversion station much like those in LPGs para di masayang yun...

Daniel Dingle's so-called invention is more of a scam than anything. He was challenged to drive his car from Manila to Baguio and back and only to put in water as fuel. The reason for the challenge is if Dingle has a hidden gasoline tank in his car, the long distance would empty it. Dinggel declined to take on the challenge citing "security" of his car from being stolen by groups with vested interests.

How hard would it to steal a car with "WATER POWERED" painted on all four sides? Not to mention it can be usually found parked in front of Dingle's residence at that time.

That and the fact that the exhaust from the tail-pipe smells like ordinary gasoline exhaust fumes makes Dingle's entire claim to be more snake oil than anything else.

Being featured in magandang gabi bayan doesn't really add to the credibility of the "device". I think even the infamous KHAOS SUPER TURBO CHARGER was also featured by the same show at one time and even "endorsed" by the VP himself.

ah ganun ba? pero sabi dun sa isang article talagang mix gas/water ata tlaga yung invention nya,,, after then, pag nagstart na ang engine using gasoline, it will run on water na.

    sayang naman

Nope. He claims his car runs on 100% water. I have seen the video about it aside from reading the printed articles about him and his "invention". Interesting fellow but I wouldn't put much value into his claims.

tama Daniel Dingel nga name nya... cant forget his name kase nga parang super interesting yung invention nya...

    made a quick search...

    http://www.wasserauto.de/html/inquirer_article.html

    ngayun nagsisisi ata sila...

    http://www.senate.gov.ph/press_relea..._pimentel1.asp

i think someone should just fund Mr.Dingel's idea tapos magtayo na lang ng Water powered engines converting stations which is more sensible than LPGs IMO.

Dingle's so-called invention doesn't hold water since the total amount of energy you get out of the system would be the same to start the process over. So where is the excess power to propel the car forward?

A simple energy equation would have proved Dingle's invention to be "wanting" in the laws of thermodynamics.

if that is the case, then i'll take my mountain bike from las pinas to makati everyday... hehehehehe. exercise pa. i just hope magtayo ang government ng bike lanes down south.

seriously, hindi pa naman siguro mauubos. imho, madaming oil deposits sa palawan tsaka sa spratleys. but we do not have the technology or the resources that will help us drill it. That is why we entered into a joint exploration activity with the other spratley claimants. mga 10% siguro ng ma-eextract dun ang makukuha natin.

there are other options that are already available. Ethanol, Hydrogen, Battery, Solar, etc. But the problem is because they are still new technologies, ang mamahal ng mga otong developed dito. For ethanol-based fuel, ang mahal ng kotse or the conversion kit.

not really... if people can afford to buy a set of alloy wheels for their ride, a LPG conversion is not beyond the purchasing power of ordinary people. The fact that auto-LPG conversion is one of the few mods that you can do to your car that pays for itself in a number of months.

Please be informed that the next generation of oil extraction will be in the US and Canada once the fossil oil deposits in the Middle East are depleted. Please refer to the attachment "SHALE OIL".

By the way... I'm trying to imagine GH in a "Mad Max" style outfit... errh... doesn't work!

I, on the other hand... might look good with a Ski Mask and a spiked leather jacket.

Bakit hindi sya mag umpisa ng taxi company as proof of concept?

anyway, going back to the topic, i think it's quite far fetched na magka-riot or civil disturbances because of high oil prices. pwede mangyari to kung nauubusan na ng oil. as in rare commodity sya. but high prices? nah. we'll adjust and adapt.

That black liquid crude oil coming out of the ground is the easiest form of oil to refine.

"unconventional" oil like tar sands, shale oil is much harder to turn into fuel we can use.

U need to strip mine tar sands and shale oil (environmental disaster)...

and use disproportionate amounts of energy and water to produce just 1 barrel of oil.

Producing oil from tar sands and shale is gonna be very expensive. More expensive than drilling holes in the ground.

The only thing Dingle was after was money. Nothing more complicated about it. The reason why nobody "financially supported" Dingle was because Dingle was short of being exposed as a fraud in his claim that his car runs on nothing but water.

sa US si stanley meyer isang american ay nakadiskubri din ng water as a fuel but he was murderred... sa ngayon marami nang gumagamit ng tubig tahimik lang sila...
Another of those conspiracy theories... Do you even have evidence where it is proven beyond doubt that Stanley Meyer's design actually works as claimed?

SOON gagawa din ako, simple lang naman ang diagram... mabibili ito sa interenet e-book ang DIY after that...
If you are so much of a supporter and you claim it is so SIMPLE, why not build one (or a few) and prove to ALL of us here of the promise of water as fuel for internal combustion engines by running your own car with the devices?

No excuses of not building it would be accepted since it is so simple, right?

There will be more money for consumption of food, more money for farmers sunod sunod na yan.

So at the end of the day this inventors are BS.
