what would be the bestbuy suv for 2013???

I've been comparing a lot of cars through my own preferences and what really suites my needs is an SUV but the problem is I have a very tight budget if I purchase a car this year,that is why I need the best SUV for the 3rd quarter 2013 w/the budget of 1.6M php max na yan.
The factors that I'm considering is:

1. Performance and Safety
2. Fuel efficiency (diesel engine)
3. Maintenance and availability of parts
4. Looks

From the factors that I considered in a car I bet the chevy CAPTIVA 2.2 for its safety factors.
2nd is the Sta. Fe, next is the Montero and lastly Fortuner.

What do you think would be the BESTBUY for my budget?
By the way it won't matter if it's a manual or an automatic transmission.

Dual airbags lang kasi,tapos ang lakas ng engine. Dapat kasi the more power the car had,dapat more safety features din,that's why top pick ko yung 2012 na chevy captiva 2.2 w/its 6speed a/t transmission tiptronic.
My concern tlaga is 6 airbags kasi tapos 8 speakers mas marami kaysa sta fe, my only problem lng is wala pa sa market,like my fav toy car chevy sonic,they all are available this 3q so matagaltagal pa para makabasa ng reviews nito on our local fellow buyers/owners.

fortuner, matagtag pa din, konti lang nabawas sa katagtagan sa old fortuner. nasakyan ko yung luma, nasakyan ko na din ang bago, sumakit dibdib ko both times. lalaki pa ako, e di lalo na kung babae na malaki ang boobs pag dating sa pagudpud baka nasa puson na ang boobs sa katagtagan.

montero, pinakamasikip (eksakto lang 3 normal size adultst sa second row) na crossover for that price. medyo matagtag din. medyo confusing din ang controls, nung na-drive ko yung montero ng friend ko e gabi pa naman nangangapa ako kung saan ang controls, di gaya ng ibang kotse kahit first time mo sakyan alam mo na kung saan ang controls. mataas, so kung may small kids na sasakay everyday e hirap sila.

santa fe, ok ang ride, pinakamaluwag in terms of passengers (kasya 3-1/2 na average size adults sa 2nd row, pwede 4 kung payat ang isa) pero halos walang luggage space. mura lang naman roof rack kung talagang madaming luggage. mababa ground clearance compared sa montero and fortuner pero kung di naman 4x4 kukunin mo e di dapat issue ito. then there is the HARI mandated PM schedule of 5000km or 3 months whichever comes first, so magastos sa PM. i have the 4wd 2009 model, mas maganda pa daw yung model ngayon, at yung lalabas next year.

di ko pa nasakyan old captiva (hangang show room lang ako), wala pa din naman yung bago so no comment.

macho nga fortuner sakit naman sa katawan. what is more important, passenger comfort or looks? lalo na kung bata o matanda ang isasakay mo, o yung girl na pinopormahan mo, i suggest go for comfort over looks. santa fe na. di siya macho pero di naman pangit, at sedan-like ride di nakakapagod.

I'll go for alterra, tested and proven. We did a test drive from QC to bicol and it's so smooth.. Regarding sa fuel consumption matipid sya kung sa matipid (take note diesel sya). Tahimik ang engine at ang sarap i-drive comfortable at malamig ang a/c.

next year pa ata, but i'd take this over the montero anyday. even if priced at 1.9M i'd still buy the santa fe over the montero or fortuner. the difference is just worlds apart literally.

Definitely it couldn't kill the sales of the cheap 1.1M Montero, pero the difference on everything is really big between the two. Given the budget of 1.5M the least, I would somehow strive more just to afford the Santa Fe if ever it would be priced at around 1.6M

From a standing still, I couldn't gauge how much attention would the Santa Fe get compared to the Montero. I am expecting left and right wow's especially if it is a sleek color such as black.
