May 5th, 2015 12:56 PM #1Hi guys and girls, ask lang ako sa mga inputs nyo...
we are going to migrate to canada in a few months and we would need a car there...
nasanay ako sa cars dito and would like your input on which car to buy...
we are a family of 5 with 2 year old twins (car seat is a must)...
given na gusto talaga bnew but i'm open to second hand...
i own a jazz and opel (kaya medyo sanay sa maintenance neto) but given the driving conditions there i'm thinking on the side of getting a cuv (crv size) para kampante si komander pag sya mag drive...
thanks for your inputs...

Subaru AWD would be one of you best option specially for the snow. You'll be glad you did

May 5th, 2015 01:16 PM #3MAKE the decision once you get there. The choices would be endless and it will depend on your finances as a new immigrant.

May 5th, 2015 01:18 PM #4Since you are a family of 5 plus 2 kids...I suggest buying a minivan instead of a sedan or SUV. It offers more space particularly legroom plus more storage at the back. Minivans nowadays drive and handle pretty much like sedans and your wife would benefit from a higher driver's vantage point.

An AWD vehicle is a key consideration for areas with snow. For a family of 5, a CUV (Forester, Rogue, CRV, etc) will do or maybe a midsize SUV (4Runner, Pathfinder, Pilot, Explorer). I have lived in snowy areas before (Midwest and Northeast US) and AWD is a blessing but it will not be of help if you run into black ice or powder dry snow (lost traction).

May 5th, 2015 02:09 PM #6Definitely agree with this
Congratulations on the migration TS. Share ko lang.. a cousin of mine (family of 4) migrated last year and bought the Nissan Xtrail when it was released there. I mentioned this only because he had this on his sights way before it was even released here. Frankly I find it cuv small for a family of 5.
Goodluck on your choice.

May 13th, 2015 10:19 PM #10When I see the deals offered for the Dodge Caravan in Canada, it makes me think that they are giving it away. Sobrang mura.
Check 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan Canda Value Package - Review Features. Less than 20K, Canadian dollars so parang P700K lang!
