I'll go w/ Terrano (yan kasi ang meron kami eh...hehehe)

    mas maluwang sya sa vitara
    mas comfortable ang ride nya
    mas malaki ang cargo area
capable din sya ipang off road (low and high gearing)

Um, may iba pa bang Vitara?

Last time I checked, Suzuki is still offering the Vitara, along with the Grand Vitara, XL-7, Jimny and even the Samurai.

On the other hand, I have yet to hear of another local Terrano model in the last two years. Didn't Nissan retire the series to eventually make way for the X-Trail?

I think the X-terrain would be a more viable replacement for it.

I had the same problem dati, ended up with a Terrano. But I kept my Feroza, real trusty car. Had it since new. Actually the big factor of having the Terrano as one of our choices was because of our good Feroza. We needed a Feroza like car that is slightly longer but not too big, we needed 2 more doors.... ayan Terrano ang kinalabasan. My father also owns a Terrano so we are pretty ok by it... kaya naging strong choice to get another mid size truck.

the terrano diesel is a TD27 engine, if same lang ang gear ratio niya compared to the pathfinder pickup, and if i'm not mistaken, top speed would be around 130 to 140 kph... medyo hirap pa yun

ok naman ang pulling power niya, kung sa offroad, wala ka siguro problema, pero acceleration medyo not good enough (based on my experience sa pathfinder pickup '90 model)

you can still buy bnew terrano sa nissan. last few units left siguro, it comes front and rear additonal tube bumpers. 16" tires like the executive series, better brakes.

as i've mentioned medyo leaning towards ako sa vitara kse type ko nga itsura. pero sa mga sinabi nyo about terrano, nagugustuhan ko narin. mas mura pa diesel. and to think may option ako palagyan ng turbo yung diesel. hmmmm... tough choice

meron pa nga raw brand new na terrano sa UMC....and they slapped some goodies on it pa raw....pero aesthetic lang not on its engine...

although kinoconsider din namin yung mas maluwang kse madalas kme mag travel. taga baguio po kse ako so madalas kme baguio-manila. so for long trips, mas comfortable tlaga pag maluwang.
