You're welcome.
And for my input.
I'd go with the City.
I think you get more value for your money if you go with the City![]()
*arvs18 - thanks again for the inputs!
what do you mean by "faily fuel efficient "... what your FC thus far?
honestly, i also find the facelifted city more attractive than the vios, in and out, hehehe!

Mixed driving. I get around 10-13 km/l. But that is because there's not much heavy traffic in our area (only recently because of extensive road works).
I only termed it as fairly fuel efficient because, yes it is fuel efficient but it's not something to write home about.
If I were you I'd go with the CityIt's also roomier than the Vios
Brand New Wigo G or Second Hand Honda City 1.3S MT 2012-2013?
Ano po mas maganda? Maliit po kasi ung Wigo, after ilang years papalitan ko rin.
Worth it ba kung Honda City na lang atlis mas malaki space? Or magbrand new na ako.
Papafinance ko ung Honda City second hand nasa 8K - 3 years lang, tapos 8K - 5 years din ung monthly ko ng brand new Wigo G.
If ibebenta mo din yung Wigo in the next X number of years bro.
And if hindi mo pa naman need talaga ng sasakyan for a while.
I suggest na ipunin mo na muna para mas makakuha ka ng mas malaking vehicle.
Either a brand new City or a good condition 2nd hand InnovaSa mas maiipon mo pang budget.
City gets my vote. Better value overall.

Hi! i dont know if my question is off topic, pero itatanong ko na haha. I know nothing about cars actually pero nagbabasa-basa nlang ako. me and my husband are planning to buy a car. our checklist are suppose to be pasok sa budget ang DP and monthly and fuel efficient. so, una i have no interest na mag research kung ano ang dpat. ung husband ko gusto nia nung una is kia picanto, kaso naisip ko mxadong maliit and I want sedan type of car. so, nagbasa-basa ko and I found Honda brio amaze matic and nag tanong2 and users confirmed that it's fuel efficient. kaso my father in law told me that we should go with Toyota Vios kc low maintenance daw. kaso ndi ko alam kung fuel efficient ba ang toyota vios na matic. thanks po sa lahat ng sasagot

City, definitely. The facelifted 1.5E is actually really good value.
- Bigger, more powerful engine with the same FC as the Vios
- Better styling inside and out
- Same features as the Vios E
For those who say that Honda maintenance is expensive, remember that they only require 10,000 km intervals while Toyota requires 5,000 km PMS.
If the City costs 5k per 10,000 km and the Vios only needs 3k per 5,000 km, then the City still comes out cheaper overall to maintain. And even if you assume that the City comes out slightly more expensive to maintain, what's the big apprehension with spending an extra 1-2k every 6 months for a much better car?
I honestly don't see the point of the 1.3E Vios anymore given how well-packaged the City 1.5E is. Spare parts will be cheaper out of the casa for the Vios but unless you run your vehicle to the ground like taxi/Uber operators do, you won't need to replace anything major within the next 100,000 km anyway.

new city has higher ground clearance. 1.5l sohc engine is indestructible. rear suspension can accomodate more than the vios.

Update:
With the good deal my bank is offering, my options changed. The city is now out of the equation. Instead, it's now between the vios 1.5 G A/T and the yaris 1.5G A/T. What do you think? [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

you can do more grocery with the vios 😁

i'm also coming from a 2.0L M/T car, a 2nd gen [H] CR-V to be exact.
1. Baka mabitin sa 1.3L, that's why I looking at 1.5L
2. The extra door out back is very useful when you need to load bulky stuffs, kaya pumasok si yaris sa option. But haven't read reviews about the yaris so far. And none of my friends or relatives have one yet.
Inputs will be much appreciated.
Might submit the loan application tomorrow... requirements all ready.
TIA! [emoji4]
