    L300 Exceed w/ 4D56 engine....(yung ibang labas nito eh 2.0 4G63 gas engine)

mas maganda ang interior nito, mas makapal ang cushion ng upuan, yung ibang nakita ko sa buy & sell dyan sa may ortigas eh naka-captains chair pa yung 2nd row seat tapos can only seat 7-8 pax so me malaking baggage area sa likod... Local release yan sa atin, atsaka parang mas maliit syang tignan kumpara sa L300 Versa Van.

Pwede rin ang Hi-ace or Urvan, kaya lang malaki na yan at mas mahal even in 2nd hand price....but if you dont mind the size....very reliable din yang 2 Van na yan.

Kung AUV naman eh Revo, yung 200VX variant nila, para pati yung seating sa likod eh front facing na...mahirap yung nakatagilid ka as passenger kapag long drives...di masyado comfortable....alam ko eh nagrelease din sila ng diesel versions nito nung last batch ng mga revos before the intro of innova....

Adventure is also good but if naka-side yung upuan sa likod eh medyo very uncomfortable yung mauupo don, naka-slant kasi inward yung likod ng adventure eh....

if crosswind will fit in the budget, it is also a good choice.....

For that budget, your choice will be Highlander, Tamaraw FX, and the 1st Gen Adventure for AUV's.... I will pick the Higlander (if you can find the xtrm na mukang old trooper, the better), and the Adventure.....medyo di maganda ang engine ng FX na diesel, yung gas naman na 1.8 eh malakas ang konsumo...

For Vans naman, you can still find a L300 na Versa Van mga 96 model and up...... yung pinsan ko kasi dati nakabili sya ng 97 for 180K, plus minor repairs....100K++ na yung odo pero maayos pa yung engine at well taken care of yung unit....pang family use lang talaga na madalas mag-out of town....

Another option will be a Besta...

I don't know when the last ones were sold. Ganyan van namin dati.

For people hauling, a van is really hard to beat. Six ata sila or so. Nung makita yung MB100, lipatan na!

Based on your needs, I'd go for a van. You can probably get a 4-year old Kia Carnival Diesel for less than 400 thou. It's a 7-seater, but I assume your 8 pax head count includes your kids so you'll fit in. The Kia's dual sliding doors are really convenient for your passengers' ingress and egress. And you'll have adequate room for your stuff at the back of the 3rd row seats (as against an AUV).

for that kinda money...take a look at korean vans -- e.g. kia besta, MB100, or hyundai grace. although i'm not really knowledgeable about them. madami akong nakikitang PU vans(ung tipong biyaheng batangas, etc) na grace
