lahat ng mazda3 are power everything.

pero yung S model only has an airbag.
the V model has 2 airbags, digital climate control (ala early-1990s BMW), bigger wheels (16" rather than 15")

the R model has a 2.0L engine and a sunroof. pero ibang usapan na yun sa presyo.

I think the Focus 1.6L Trend MT would consume LESS GAS than the Mazda3 1.6S (both of them cost 799k although mazda has a 50k discount now). because the Focus is a manual tranny and the mazda is automatic.

The Focus 1.6 and Mazda 1.6 have the same engine. actually they are the same car under the skin, kaya hindi totoo yang "mas malakas sa gas ang Ford." eh pareho nga sila eh...

a friend of mine claims 8.5km/L on his mazda3 V.

i would expect the Focus 1.6 MT would do 10km/L+ under the same conditions.

dagdag: the Focus is more expensive (e.g. Focus 1.6 manual 799k, auto is 849k, vs Mazda3 1.6S 749k) pero the base-level focus has almost the same accessories as the V-model mazda3 (e.g. Focus 1.6 already has driver airbag, ABS/EBD, rear parking sonar... pero wala siyang passenger airbag or digital climate control). pero 889k naman yung mazda3 1.6V vs 849k for the Focus 1.6 automatic. (although again, may 50k discount si mazda... meron din kaya si Ford since pareho lang naman may-ari niyan...)
