September 21st, 2011 12:02 AM #2Siguro mas malakas sa gasolina ang Camry since mas malaki ang makina niya at A/T pa. And I personally do not like the grandpa looks of the Camry and its engine gives lackluster performance, giving similar, if not inferior (due to weight) performance as compared to your Corona. But it is VERY comfortable, which IMHO is its only saving grace. If you want to upgrade to something of this class, I'd suggest the Accord nalang especially if performance is important to you.

September 21st, 2011 11:59 AM #3Potential problems I see:
Nakalower - Putol springs? If yes, suspension problems down the line.
Mags - baka baduy naman haha. I prefer OEM on older cars.
HID - Malamang hindi projectors - Glare towards other motorists, baka chop chop na rin yung electricals? May point to electrical problems on an old car.
I'll keep the stock corona. Next time nalang change car. Iwas sakit ulo.

Personally, I like the Corona better. Keep it. Pagandahin mo nalang yung sayo. In the end, it will eventually look better than a 1997 Camry dressed up.
Nakakita ako ng Corona, 1994 pa nga eh, tastefully modded. Nakakagulat.

Keep the Corona IMO.
More parts for this model as against the Camry.

September 21st, 2011 12:30 PM #7Sorry my bad.
I'd still keep the Corona.
Trading up to a relatively unknown vehicle that's almost as old as yours is not such a good idea. (Unless may hidden defects yang kotse mo haha)

I just keep the 1995 corona, nasanay ka na rin naman magdrive ng M/T e, camry think about it it's an A/T, isipin mo nalang pagnakadiperensiya yan, sakit sa bulsa, A/T pa masyado maselan, change ATF is an additional maintenance cost.

Keep the Corona... Since more pain pa pag yung Camry ang kinuha mo. Do remember, back in the 90's, Toyota was able to sell more Coronas than Camrys. Parts wise, Corona. Kung may big budget ka, why not get a 2002-2004 Camry, that's a better choice!!
Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
