Ang bagong Innova bago na lahat lahat. Hindi natin alam kung magkakaproblema tulad ng infamous choking/SCV problems ng mga unang 2KD engines. At dahil bago, kakapa-kapa ulit mga mekaniko. Kaya kapag reliability at peace of mind, etong luma parin ang kunin. Kapag kinapos sa hatak, chip at intercooler upgrade nalang.

The wifey and I visited the local dealership...no mention of any shortage of Innova, but the biggest discount they can give is 40K, while a discount of 15K goes for the Fortuner. The wife likes the interior built quality of the Fort vs. the Innova, and noted its comfy seats though for me, pareho lang naman ang seat thickness and softness. Night and day ba ang ride comfort difference between Fort and Innova?

^IMO, the Innova has a better ride but the difference wont be a deal breaker in my case. Power-wise, that's the night and day difference (vnt Fortuner versus the non-vnt Innova). :D

Surely, malayo ang difference nila sa power sir. Pero pag sakay ko mga babies ko, even my Advie's power is passable. I become a driving chicken. Relative kasi ang ride comfort so ang hirap i-quantify. Nasakyan ko pa lang as passenger aside from my Advie are: current gen Altis, Montero, new-Gen Xtrail (15 minutes test drive). So as long as which between Fort or Innova is closer sa ride comfort ng Altis or Xtrail, du'n na ako. The Montero I rode on was rather bumpy, but still smoother than my Advie.
