ang isang pwede na leverage ni TS to convince the wife is the resale value.
Toyota Fort is higher compared to Isuzu MuX. and besides mas mahal ng konti si MuX sa kanyang choices sa ngayon.
kaso if the wifey is already fixated with her choice, wala na magagawa. walang compromise yan. sabi nga ng karamihan HappyWife=HappyLife!

Hahaha.. Right now may Readily available na MuX LSE White pero requesting si Esmi ng Gray (so may chance pa talaga Fortuner Q kung sakali)..

BTW sa Resale Value pala mukhang hindi na issue kasi pang 10-15yrs or more na siguro yung mabibiling OTO..

Sa may Fortuner/Hilux(2.4 vs 2.8) Night and Day ba pala difference sa takbo ng 1GD at 2GD Engine?

For me, yes. Ramdam ang difference sa power. At the same time, ramdam din difference sa fuel economy. City driving ko sa 2.8 is about 7.8-8km/l while umaabot pa sa 9 yung 2.4

sa papel lang yang "worth it naman" the 1 km/li advantage vis a vis power.
in truth, i think about that extra 1 km, every time i gas up.
it sometimes figures significantly, when i have to choose which vehicle to drive that day.
    heh heh.

    my opinion, folks.

i have the Fort Q 2.8L engine... in terms of power hindi ka magsisisi. di hamak na malayo sa aking innova noon but a bit nimble vs my previous TBZ.

Go for Fortuner Q hands down.

Upsize to LTD 4x2 if possible.

If SRP at walang discount, syempre lamang talaga resale value toyota.
