i'll choose the civic. it's more spacious and it's just the better all around car between the two

Thanks for your input guys. I'm leaning towards the Vios at this moment.

Civic would be the better choice here but since you plan on selling it anyways after a year, mas ok nga na Vios nalang.

    Question ko din yan Sir.
Kasi possible naman i-turnover mo nalang yung car sa wife / daughter mo in the near future. If ma maintain mo naman ng maayos hehe.

I might want a brand new car next time.

Pag nanalo ako ng lotto during that time, di ko na ibebenta.

Medyo deal-breaker kasi yung no ABS and no airbag ng Civic 1.8V

Why not get a Civic 1.8S? I don't like the Civic 1.8V either.

The Vios is a better secondhand car if you just want something durable and fuel efficient to get you from point A to point B.

If you value performance, space, class, and driving feel, the Civic is much much better. Only drawback is higher fuel consumption and maintenance costs.

For me, it's a no-brainer to get a Civic but you might have different priorities.

I'm also eyeing a 2005 Civic VTI-S, but I'm wary because of its price. It's being sold at 235K, which I think might be too low. I haven't personally looked at it yet so I'm not really sure. I mean if it's legit, I'd definitely consider buying it. Are there any signs I need to look for when I go check it out? Can it really be that inexpensive (relatively). It has almost 120k on the odo.

That's the correct price, it's the older model so it's definitely cheaper.

I'd say skip that and go for the FD Civic instead.
