Swift or yaris?

I prefer the Yaris as well. Of course there are more choices out there, pero kung itong dalawa lang talaga, the Yaris is a better choice.

No seriously, its a more practical car kasi mas maganda ang passenger space nya... As I always like to say its a Vios in practicality, without the taxi feeling...

Things wrong with the car:
-space ... or more accurately, the lack of seating space inside.
-looks ... too much like a "mini" wannabe
-space ... or the lack of any useful trunk space.
-fuel economy ... or the lack of it. For a small car, it not frugal on the gas.
-price ... more like OVER priced for the category.
-sold by Suzuki ... known for bad aftersales service.

will definitely go with the Yaris. You'll save a hundred thousand more bucks and has the Toyota badge.

Just comparing the two cars as they are, with no other strings attached...

The Swift definitely looks better to these peepers. Unfortunately looks can only go so far. It's a toy, really, although much less of a toy compared to the car it apes, the BMW Mini (which has horrendous rear seating given how big the car is). The Swift is at least much more honest to its sheetmetal.

The Yaris will not win any beauty contests, inside or out...but it does have a better-packaged interior. Not better-LOOKING, just better-PACKAGED. You could actually convincingly carry a typical load of groceries and people in it.

Swift because Suzuki and Mitsubishi fanboy ako hehe.

May realtime temperature gauge ang swift hehe (not sure about the new facelift though), mas maporma, made in India and we all know road conditions are worse there compared here so adapted kaagad sa environment kumbaga hehe, same reliability with Yaris, maintenance same with Yaris too.

Cons, low resale value compared to Yaris, some say poor customer service (just avoid Suzuki Shaw, Suzuki Caloocan is the best casa out there for service sabi nang mga Zuki owners na kilala ko).

Maruti Suzuki is from India. Export nila ay A-Star (Celerio here), Alto, Swift. APV not sure kung doon or dito ina-assemble.

+1 for swift, kasi i like performance and the swift is a fun little car. unlike the yaris, yes it is practical but it is also a boring car. no offense to yaris owners.

Yaris is only boring if you don't have the vision to see beyond skin deep.

No offense if you fall into this category.

Try also to consider Mazda2 and the forthcoming Ford Fiesta. Masyado na common Toyota here in our country, are there not enough choices? Better research and look at the specs of the various brands, not rely on hearsay coming from others. Arrange for a test drive and see for yourself.

I'm still torn between yaris and swift. Kailangan SubCompact. I like Swift because it looks like a mini and it is made in Japan. But Yaris, is a toyota. Pareho lang ang presyo. Swift has zero % interest. Yaris, wala. Pero may discount. Thanks for the comments.
