Good day everyone! I would appreciate your valued comments regarding swapping a 1998 rav4 manual 5drs (83k mileage) with a 2001 XTO crosswind automatic (50k mileage)? If so, does anyone need to add cash or a straight up swap is ok?

Thanks a lot for your inputs!!

What's your reason for swapping the Rav4?

personally, i won't go with the swap.... pero its just me...

let me assume your reason.... you need bigger space right? if such case, consider mo Starex or something....

Don't do it. The '98 RAV 4 may be older than the '01 Crosswind, but the RAV is classier hands down. SUV vs. AUV bro, no contest.

Unless you have a really good reason to swap it...

ako, i don't know. perhaps kaya niya isa-swap kasi fuel costs. yung Rav4 '98 ba yun yung kagaya kay M2? if yes, then my answer is no- i won't swap it. its got style and character, plus 4WD.

    but that is just me.

kung Rav4 - xtrail or rav4 - everest, pwede pa siguro. but rav4-xto crosswind... di yata pantay.

Hula ko. Medyo nakakaramdam na ng aray sa bulsa yung thread starter kaya balak niyang mag-downgrade ng vehicle. Baka may diperensya na yung RAV at malakas sa fuel.

As a Rav4 owner, better not do it. You are exchanging riding comfort, low maintenance, and good acceleration vis-a-vis interior space. I agree with the comment above... its between SUV & AUV... would you accept a downgrade?

Even if that has cash, Rav4s do not de-value quickly since it's proven to be a reliable & exclusive SUV especially the sapatos ni Voltes V version... hehehe

    Hmmm......98 5-dr RAV4 4WD
    STRAIGHT SWAP:
If fuel cost is the reason, go fo a higher crosswind model...2003 XUV pwede na siguro.

    PLUS CASH:
Swap it with Innova Diesel...........again, if fuel cost is the reason.
