Suzuki Grand Vitara to...

Hi Guys!

We're planning to sell our 2006 Grand Vitara by the end of the year, and we are thinking about changing it to either of the following:

1. Honda Civic 1.8S or 2.0S-L
2. Ford Focus 2.0 TDCi
3. All-new Mitsubishi Lancer (no specific trim yet)

Which one will be your pick? Or if you can recommend any sedan within the price range (below 1.2m).

BTW, out muna SUVs/AUVs/MPVs as of the moment.

Sheesh I bumped into this thread that I started more than 5 years ago haha! Well, for the sake of updating, the GV is still here and I decided to just add a Civic 1.8S last 2008. It was also this Civic that my cousin eventually bought just last year. I replaced it with a new Sorento CRDi.

Well, late last year I let wifey to choose between a 2006 GV and a brand new Mirage GLS. She grabbed the GV and she is very happy with it.

Hello guys! Any caveat to the 2006 grand vitara? Fuel consumption and maintenance expenses? How about prices and availability of parts (casa and 3rd party)? What can you advise, I'm thinking of getting one.

We bought a 2006 GV last year (less than 40Kkm sa metro). So far wala pang expense except change oil just once nung pagkabili. Saka ibinilhan ko ng mud guard.

Availability of parts, di ko masabi at di pa ako dumating dyan. Maaring may mabibili naman.
FC is about 8Km/L (mix).
