hi! am new at this. i am planning to buy a brand new suv/auv/mvp that is guaranteed to last at least 10 years. i am willing to spend around 1.2M for a vehicle but since this will be a really hard earned money and i may not be able to buy another vehicle i am looking for one that can last the longest and fuel efficient. i am most grateful for any advices. thanks.

Innova for me, but if you can also consider a pickup.... a good one is Ford ranger xlt at 1.069K. Tons of goodies.

thanks for the reply everyone! if have compared the specs as well as reviews of innova, sportivo, adventure ss and base model of montero glx (mt). i like the montero being within my budget with additional points for 2 airbags in terms of safety. however, i am not sure if it is really as durable as it looks and how efficient is its fuel consumption.

Kung more inclined ka sa Montero, then get a Montero.

Innova is another good alternative. More comfortable and fuel efficient than a Montero.

    Good luck TS

Couldn't go wrong with an Innova.

Agree lahat naman ay tatagal ng 10 years but i will pick Innova compared sa advie at crooswind kasi mas dated siya at may maganda kaming experience sa Toyota.

MS GLX nga lang or Innova G. Kung ayos na ride height sa'yo nang Innova, mas okay yun kasi mas mura maintenance in the long run. Pero kung kelangan mo heavy duty, MS ka talaga. Medium duty lang AUV eh. Ewan lang crosswind.

Get the Innova, it's well worth it

Wait a little more for the new Innova, and you'll get the electronic steering equipped car - no need for steering fluid maintenance and it eliminates engine load- no more power steering pump.

Toyota is slowly phasing out the fluid type power steering, this is now the trend in their new models starting now with the new 86, RAV4 and VIOS, then the new ALTIS and CAMRY and in few months the new INNOVA

Gulong pa lang lamang na innova, tapos sa parts mas mahal SUV vs AUV. Mas matipid din Innova kasi sa design din at weight niya vs an SUV. Talagang advantage lang nang MS sa innova is the ide height, its tougher and can handle more load and bumpier/uglier roads.

I have an MS (SE) and a Inno-G, here is my personal thought between these 2 units.
    MS advantage
    1. Ride height
    2. Power and torque
    3. Un-ending mods, iwas umay.
    4. More reliable differentials. (personal experience)
    5. High rating in speed and go anywhere category.
    6. All around, pang pamilya, pang chicks, pang sports pang adventure.

    Innova Advantage
    1. Matipid maintenance, kahit same price sa MS GLX, mas maraming kang ritual sa pag car wash and wax pag MS.
    2. Cabin space
    3. FC
    4. Magaan steering, mas driveable, less body roll.
    5. Suited more for family use.
