For those who drive a SUV and CUV...

What is your real world fuel consumption?

State the vehicle year and model and type (2WD, 4WD, AWD, gas, diesel, M/T, A/T, CVT, etc).

It's just an upgrade from my Lancer EX (which got totaled in an accident in late Feb).

Drives much like a sedan with a wee bit more suspension travel. The least CUV-ish with a bonus that it uses the same engine/tranny of the EX resulting in good fuel economy with a dash of great performance (the ASX weighs the same as the Lancer EX GTA).

Swapping in the engine mods I had with the EX should give it the same power gains/performance.

I still don't like SUVs.

2011 Kia Sorento 4x2 Theta II engine, dressed up with step boards, bumper overriders, and other accessories (weight penalty).
Standard load of 4 pax on most trips.
Fuel used is Caltex Gold.

Bumper to bumper 5.5KM/L
Medium city traffic 6.5km/L
highway driving 9-11km/L

Considering the above, I'm pretty happy with the FC, though was shocked with the FC when I went from compact car to SUV. Sanay na ngayon though.
