It has boiled down to these two choices. List price minus discount at 1.2M. Each having its own pros and cons. Most of the time, I will use it for driving to work somewhere in Mandaluyong and Makati. Weekends, I will use to drive to Pampanga via NLEX with my wife and daughter.
The Monty seems to be the practical choice since it is a diesel and assuming same FC would be cheaper to maintain. However, my personal preference is the XV (uncommon, looks, better ride quality, drives like a car). Still undecided.
What would you choose and why?
Thanks.

Choose what your heart desires. Though if you want to extend your budget a bit, you're now looking at the Forester 2.0L.

Question lang about Subaru's maintenance. Is it comparable to other Japanese brands?

October 27th, 2013 09:28 PM #6Pms every 10k km cost 6,870 in motor image gh.
I'd go with the subie anytime! Safety and performance is better than monty imo having driven both, subie is much responsive and more connected to the driver. Handling is very good too, especially at high speed curves. If you can, get the top of the line at 1.4++m or fozzie base at 1.390m.

If you don't need space for 7, then no need for the Montero Sport GLX.
