Bahain? buy a Crosswind and a snorkel...
The Forester is the newer car, with more space, to boot... the Legacy is more keen to drive, but it's underpowered, with a 2 liter engine and a four-speed automatic, it's not any quicker than most 1.6 ATs.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
actually kaya pumangit yung road dahil sa kanila. before, it was a decent asphalted road. nung ipa-cemento tinipid naman. nabakbak ang top layer ng cement kaya naging very agitating. nasira nga agad shocks ng mazda3 namin.
me and my son have always dreamed of owning a subaru, if parehas lang tibay ng suspension ng forester at legacy baka legacy na ako kasi parang mas pang family.
sir reuben, you mentioned that you have a mazda3. then i would suggest you getting an suv...go for the forester.
i've test-driven 2.0 variant last september and it's fun to drive! and the standard features are amazing. it would also be fun to drive on out-of-town trips...and bumpy roads would be less stressful when driving over 'em.
i plan to sell the mazda3 to help finance getting either of the two subarus
since you're deciding over the same brand and purpose (both being a family car), go for the one that your heart tells you...and what your road tells you as well
pareho tayong di makatulog sa pagbili ng sasakyan....ako nga dalawang buwan na, bro!
Wait for the Subbie boxer Diesel (Legacy, Forester and Impreza). It should be in our shores anytime soon.
Forester XT, hands down. Its about whether you're willing to compromise on power and utility (Legacy), or compromise on a little luxury (XT) or a lot of luxury and convenience (X).Safety wise, they're all the same. Subaru doesn't compromise on that nowadays....
Its your money man. Use it wisely.![]()
thank for all the info guys. it has really helped a lot. i have decided on the forester, but the question now is will i wait for the diesel?
for all those who gave their opinion, again, thanks!
diesel has no advantage nowadays. in fact, tine-take advantage pa nga crdi owners ngaun ng big 3. imagine a puv diesel is at P30/liter pero pang private 35/liter. that's highway robbery. mas mura pa mag-e10. btw, e10 ok ba ang gasoline forester?
this is soooo untrue. You are only talking about the price. a 1.6L CRDi approximately equals the torque of a 2.4L gas. A 2.4L gas will get you around 6km/l. a 1.6L CRDi will get easily you 12km/l. Most car experts will recommend CRDi over gas variants in any model. And if the Euro5-compliant diesel comes ashore (next year din daw), then gas vs diesel variants will be no contest.
So sir rueben, if you are not really in a hurry, I also suggest you wait for the boxer diesel. But on your question, its the fozzie for me too. :D
if we're lucky, late 2010 daw. now, if I can only save 100k a month... lol!![]()
