go for the ranger trekker if your going to use it for hauling heavy stuffs. if your into porma and want a car like ride go for the strada. ive tested both trucks na and malakas tlga ang ranger than the strada glx, kung long trips mas ma appreciate mo ang ranger specially pag mountain roads ang madadaanan mo. sa parts naman hindi nmn magkaka problema, madami naman sa banawe. sa reliability naman so far wala pa naman nagrreklamo sa new ranger, i own an everest 2nd gen so far wala pa ako na encounter na problema din, 9 months na ito and almost 30k na ang natakbo. sa fc naman sa everest nmn na 3.0 nakaka 13-15km/l and auto trans pa sya. how much more sa 2.5 na trekker sa tingin ko mas magging matipid pa ito. and i almost forgot my friend has a new trekker and it runs over its 180kph speedometer mark. yun lang po! gud luck sa pag pili! dont forget to testdrive both trucks!

    Fuel Eff. : Trekker, surprise?
Comfort Front : Tie Trekker pick up position, Strada car like seat
    Comfort Rear seat : Strada
Value for Money : Trekker 971K lang

Sir yung sa price, yung glx 4x2 ng strada would be 888k (with bed liner, foglamps and stepboards as kasali na sa unit) as of january 2008, (dont know kung tumaas na ito.) if ito nga yung counter part ng Trekker 971K.

LSD and fat tires are a very good plus specially on slippery roads.

I totally agree, laki ng ginaganda pag naka big tires nga lang. Though in price I think strada pa rin ang cheaper (wala nga lang lsd and big tires).

yeah its 908k less disc, so upto 888k kaya, though yung 971k ng trekker i assume may less discount pa un, but i doubt it would go lower sa 888k ng glx. though having big tires and lsd is kinda cool rin.

Hi to all. New to this tread and to pickup trucks too. I also had this dilema about 2 weeks ago, but decide to get the trekker. Why? I wanted an automatic. It seems that the trekker was the cheapest in the automatic 4X2 category. There was no strada 4X2 automatic. As to discounts, I got 50t pesos off, diamond glossing, lto, tint, seatcover, mats, 3yr era, 1t km,5tkm check up, and a full tank. I simply haggled with 3 dealers, thus the results. This was also my second car with them. Hope this helps with those bargain hunters, and have fun hunting. I did!

    im into this before...
i've even created a poll on what to choose
it was hilux and strada then

for sure, my first choice was hilux, I'm excited to get one
when i decided to visit mitsu KarAsia dvo.
Strada has everything, just try to compare
    Best value, futuristic interior
try changing into big tires and you'll have ur jaws dropped
The legroom is great and so comfortable
the most quite engine.. hear it for yourself..

In fairness to ranger, it looks so tough like a macho man (dancer)
with the strada (gay) on its side...
Hoping rangers spare parts are available locally

piece of advice... go on wid what you want
try not ending up disappointed with your truck
most people from mindanao loves isuzu
they even asked me why i've bought that spaceship hehehehehe
see! we do have lots of point of view
    we're not kids anymore
we know what we want... hehehehehe

    God Bless

Well, as the old line goes: depende kung saan gagamitin.

If you plan on doing a lot of hauling, go with the Trekker's torque and larger cargo bed.

If a recreational pickup is all you need, with striking good looks overall and a dependable engine, Strada na.

Strada GLX vs. Ranger TREKKER ???
