if my main concern was looks, i would go for the ranger.

if my main concern was family use, i would do for the strada because it has better 2nd row seats.

i suggest you bring your family along for a test drive and have a feel for the 2nd row.

both would be more than capable of delivering goods and both have a dozen of so upgrades.

Try checking them both out. The new Ranger's back seats are nowhere near as bad as the previous one's. They're actually... roomy... in fact.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

I'd go for the new Ranger. Newer model, bigger wheels, higher wading height (useful pag baha), better off road capability, bigger truck bed, better engine and if I am not mistaken ... its back seats are actually either just as roomy or even roomier than the Strada. It also looks more masculine and there isn't a lot of them out on the road so better exclusivity as well. The main downside is ... all these adds to a pretty large vehicle - its about 200kg heavier and 230mm longer than the Strada.

Mitsubishi for parts of course. PMS ng mitsubishi di rin mura. Just like any other brand dealerships. Most are greedy.hehe. I was surprised that our R-eVGT Sorento was cheaper to maintain than a neighbor's montero.

Pero IMO lang, parts will not be a problem for probably the next five years. Kung meron man papalitan after warranty period, the price difference between the parts of the strada and ranger will be probably minimal or tolerable. And di naman frequent yung breakdown ng parts. Say mga Php 15000 worst case yung total worth of price difference of parts accumulated for the 3rd to 10th year. Mas mahal pa yung 3% DI ng ford pag pinatulan.haha.

One of the consideration of buying a car is maintenance and parts cost. Pero mas worth yung sasakyan na gusto mo talaga, the tsikot that you would enjoy every minute driving it, not the one you would choose because of cheaper maintenance or better resale. Guilty ako dyan.hehe. though our Vios 1.5G gave us a solid five years, I really wished until ngayon na sana FD nalang kahit base model or EX.

I heard from the SA of Mitsubishi that before the year ends, maglalabas ng Strada with minor changes sa looks. Probably its color too.

If i'd choose the Ranger, mas OK yung TOTL na para di ako maghinayang sa bandang huli.

Same kami ni ts ng dillema although the montero non-vgt mt gives me another option kaso masasacrifice yung cargo. Konti nalang kasi dagdag naka suv na, pero gustong gusto ko yung all new ranger, ang problema yung availability medyo im in a hurry, yung dalawang mitsu available na, kaya im gathering reasons for me not to wait for the all new ranger, lol

Kung di makaintay, ok na naman yung Strada VGT.
It's comfortable, it can be a workhorse and has the power to boot.

Pero kung hinde mo naman parati sasakyan ng mga kung anu-ano, Montero na. Pwede mo naman i-fold yung seats kung kailangan mo ng space eh.

Ranger is good if you can wait. Pero sometimes, sobra tagal talaga nakakainip eh.

Kung i-consider mo Montero, consider mo na rin yung Toyota Fortuner 2.5L VNT at yung Ford Everest.
