Well there's no 1.33M variant anymore, so there really isn't a choice to go 100k cheaper. Strategic move by Kia IMO. Limits the consumer to go OEM with the fogs and roof rails though.

yup nexen ang tyres. 104T naman ang rating. i was actually feeling na matagtag siya at first, like you feel every little pebble on the road. yun pala they inflated the tyres to 45 psi. i checked the recommended tyre pressure and it was only 33 psi light load, 38 psi fully loaded. so kanina i had it adjusted to 34 psi, ayun ok na siya parang slightly firmer than santa fe na lang. siguro kung 33 psi mas soft pa.

yes sir, roof rack, mud guard, fogs, cargo cover. freebies are spoiler and the usual tint, mats, seat cover (that my wife did not even bothered to get after seeing it, pangit kasi haha!)

i already looked around, the fogs are not available or else you'll need to cut a hole on the black plastic where the fogs go.
also the body-colored side mirror covers with led repeaters are also not available. i'll ask if they can just paint the black plastic covers. another alternative is to buy one of those "chrome" plastic covers and have it painted, this way they do not need to remove the side mirrors for painting. may side repeater naman na sa fender so as OB said di na daw needed ang led repeaters sa side mirror, mababasag lang. sometimes he is right haha!

Hindi rin pala sulit yung 1.33M kasi wala rin naman palang mahahanap sa labas. Sulit na nga yung 1.43. Sana hindi magtaas.

one thing i just confirmed today, there is no auto door lock at 40kph like on the santa fe. maybe this is only for the higher speced models. just need to remind myself to activate the door lock all the time.

^congrats sir!, wala yang speed-sensing auto-doorlock paglabas ng CASA. had it programmed thru their computer at 1K PMS for free. no splicing/whatever. just simple programming. you can choose 2 options. I chose the speed-sensing doorlock programmed to lock at your desired speed, then auto-unlock once the engine is turned off. the second option is on transmission shift ata. shift to park, unlock, not sure pano maglock. shifting to D perhaps? or pag wala sya sa park automatic maglock.

yung sa fogs, ang naisip ko na alternative is to cut a hole on the black plastic, install aftermarket fogs and then hide the cut on the plastic using those chrome burloloys. yan e kung mahilig ka sa chrome. pag hindi e di paint the chrome black, pwede din.

congrats... tumawag din sa akin kia pasay. may white na lx.. binibigay ng 1.4m and yung ex, less 120k. sabi ko next month na.. inaabangan ko lang pag labas ng sta fe at trailblzer.. may feeling ako na magbibigay sila ng mas malaking discounts

Well, if you were availing of garyq's HID retrofit, I'm sure he'd mould something very nice for you. Right now, it's no longer a high priority for you, coz you've got the fogs already. But hey, that doesn't mean you can't get an upgrade, right? ;)

How's the stock lighting pala of the HLs and FLs? Better than the Santa Fe's? HID pa ba?

Like ratchet, I had the speed sending auto doorlock activated at the CASA for free during my GS's 10t km PMS. Though it's a Hyundai, I would expect Kia to have the same technology. I availed of the 1st option, which is for the locks to be triggered upon reaching 20kph. Employing some experimentation, I tried unlocking the door over 20kph. Auto forced re-lock ang nangyari. Di ko napansin yung auto unlock once the engine is off. Gotta check that. Got so used to manually locking and unlocking the doors each time.

Really huh? Thanks for the heads up. Too many variants get very confusing. It's bad for their rep as well if they can't correctly serve their many variant options.
