^ ganun din yun sa quirino, they only have the awd unit in their pamphlet, bare awd lx for 1.43M. but on inspection they actually have the 4x2. sa september pa daw dating ng awd units. meron daw awd lx na 1.43M sa acropolis. read back on this thread, black color awd lx.

our sorento was delivered this pm, wife loves it. 9pm na o kakapasok lang sa house hahaha! baka magaya ako kay allenjo nito di man lang makahawak ng susi.

Acropolis is saying 1.330M WITH the roof rack, fogs, cargo cover, spoiler plus freebies. Well, that's what an SA was saying over the phone. They'll probably be "conveniently mistaken" when you make the actual order.

Well, supposedly to try and appeal to as much buyers as possible.

IMO, it's their attempt at confusing the public. Lure them in with all the possible options, and when they bite deliver only what you have. Most will probably no longer refuse and just settle because they're already looking at the brand new unit with slightly different specs.

front view showing the fogs. note here the front windshield already has a full tint (pic taken after Maspro visit). the dealer tint is only a 8 inch strip on the top so i had it tinted at Maspro.

rear view. note there is no "LX" emblem, just Sorento and CRDI. i actually like it better without the "LX". also note there is no rear top spoiler. however i will be given a spoiler as a freebie, in about 2 weeks. the roof rails are also shown, so IMn29 confirm na sir standard ang roof rails for the 1.430M 4x2 LX model.

instrument cluster. it is not same as the EX in the KIA website, just plain red. also there is no dimmer for the light.

it does come with a cargo cover AND the 2nd row seat do come with headrests, something that was noted to be missing in the brochure for the 5-seater bare LX.

rear and front mud guards were also standard. notice also that there is no black plastic side moulding on the doors. mas maganda pa nga pag walang plastic moulding, looks cleaner.

first upgrade, DVD/TV/GPS HU with back up camera for 25k. done at Katipunan ave 2nd floor of the building with the Yellow Cab place. very professional ang installer, di nagtitipid ng cable tie or tape.

other upgrades made, by Sir Benjia of Maspro:
1. HID upgrade for the low beam projectors
2. door rain guard
3. full tint for the front windshield.

they have the fox, tiger, K and marquee emblem at Maspro (well they can get it from their supplier while you wait), P3800 for the front, rear and steering wheel. they dont have the wheel insert emblems.

canceled upgrade:

1. step boards. the sorento sits lower than the santa fe and the placement of a step board will only be 2-1/2" lower then the cabin so it will be useless to add one.

one thing i just confirmed today, there is no auto door lock at 40kph like on the santa fe. maybe this is only for the higher speced models. just need to remind myself to activate the door lock all the time.

Pansin ko lang, naka Nexen Roadian 571 yung sa'yo. Yung kaninang tiningnan ko sa Kia Acro, naka Kumho Solus KL21. Ba't kaya magkaiba ng gulong, eh same variant and mukha namang galing sa same batch ng imports..

^congrats sir!, wala yang speed-sensing auto-doorlock paglabas ng CASA. had it programmed thru their computer at 1K PMS for free. no splicing/whatever. just simple programming. you can choose 2 options. I chose the speed-sensing doorlock programmed to lock at your desired speed, then auto-unlock once the engine is turned off. the second option is on transmission shift ata. shift to park, unlock, not sure pano maglock. shifting to D perhaps? or pag wala sya sa park automatic maglock.

Like ratchet, I had the speed sending auto doorlock activated at the CASA for free during my GS's 10t km PMS. Though it's a Hyundai, I would expect Kia to have the same technology. I availed of the 1st option, which is for the locks to be triggered upon reaching 20kph. Employing some experimentation, I tried unlocking the door over 20kph. Auto forced re-lock ang nangyari. Di ko napansin yung auto unlock once the engine is off. Gotta check that. Got so used to manually locking and unlocking the doors each time.

yup nexen ang tyres. 104T naman ang rating. i was actually feeling na matagtag siya at first, like you feel every little pebble on the road. yun pala they inflated the tyres to 45 psi. i checked the recommended tyre pressure and it was only 33 psi light load, 38 psi fully loaded. so kanina i had it adjusted to 34 psi, ayun ok na siya parang slightly firmer than santa fe na lang. siguro kung 33 psi mas soft pa.

yes sir, roof rack, mud guard, fogs, cargo cover. freebies are spoiler and the usual tint, mats, seat cover (that my wife did not even bothered to get after seeing it, pangit kasi haha!)

i already looked around, the fogs are not available or else you'll need to cut a hole on the black plastic where the fogs go.
also the body-colored side mirror covers with led repeaters are also not available. i'll ask if they can just paint the black plastic covers. another alternative is to buy one of those "chrome" plastic covers and have it painted, this way they do not need to remove the side mirrors for painting. may side repeater naman na sa fender so as OB said di na daw needed ang led repeaters sa side mirror, mababasag lang. sometimes he is right haha!

as far as my research goes, the spoilers and mud guards are available but the roof racks and fogs are not.

yung sa fogs, ang naisip ko na alternative is to cut a hole on the black plastic, install aftermarket fogs and then hide the cut on the plastic using those chrome burloloys. yan e kung mahilig ka sa chrome. pag hindi e di paint the chrome black, pwede din.
