peru ako.. suv syempre.. pra pang pamilya, outing at pang barkada
kotse lang din naman kasi yang SIR na yan.,, sa isang tulad ko na mahirap lamang eh prang hndi naman praktikal po yung presyong 400 thou sa 10yr old car na civic/honda lng din naman .. eh makakabili ka na ng isang modelo na sasakyan/suv/auv nun like innova,pajero ,crv xtrail.. kya SUV talaga tska hndi na rin ganun katulin yung SIR katulad ng dati kasi me edad na rin ..

pero sa mga 1.6 displacement, SiR parin ang may pinaka-maraming horsepower diba? ayos naman ang SiR, sobrang taas lang talaga ng resale value. kung mga asa 320k lang siguro ang price range niya ayos naman. pero kung mga 400k+ na, wag nalang hahaha

Amongst the locally sold 1.6L variants, yes it has the most HP but how useful is 160hp if it comes in at 7000rpm? Same goes with the torque.

On the drag strip it will eat other 1600 cars stock-to-stock but on a technical track, the Civic SiR would have a harder time and i would see other "lesser"sedans (even a Sentra 1300) giving off better bracket times. This is mainly due to the engine powerband coming in at high rpms.

7000rpm(160hp) won't be problem on a technical track if the driver knew how to blip the throttle. The car won't be the reason if it loses to some other cars. The hp of a 1600 dohc to a 1300 is quite glaring to ignore.
