Driver Tommi Mäkinen won with an Evo in 1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999.

Yup Tommi is the man. I think he deserves a lot of credit for making evo a very popular car. Watching those past commercials of mitsubishi with his evo in action gives me goosebumps.
