Need your inputs guys. In anticipation of the increase excise tax next year, will there also be an effect in pricing for second hand cars? I will be selling my Toyota Fortuner 2015 na kasi pero I might delay it kung tataas din bentahan next year.

Personally i don't think so. Kung tumaas man not so much as there is a lot of supply out there for 2nd hand vehicles.

Sa tingin ko tataas. Nakabase ang price ng 2nd hand sa brand new price

sa tingen ko baba, kasi palabas na Honda CRV diesel, ilaunchang Nissan PPV Navarra at binagbagsak na ni Hari ang Tucson CRDi and of course, the entry of the diesel Mitsuvishi Expander. even toyota will take a hit basta oversupply ang market ng reliable diesel cars

    IMO, it's still a buyer's market...

Daming offers for a brand new car right now...

Only reason for the prices to go up is further strengthening of the US Dollar...

The new taxes introduced will just cause inflation... Pero not enough to raise prices of used cars next year...

They won't go up. They just won't go down as quickly as they would otherwise.

As said, still a buyer's market. Laki ng supply ng secondhand units.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

always smell the desire of the 2nd hand unit sellers, most of the time kating-kati din yan bumile. if they like experienced three flop sells, yun hindi nag-close chances are sa fourth one bibigay na yan.

So Fortuner being so oversupplied in the used market, take your time. those 6,000 who bought the new Fortuners last May, baka 4000 dun may old Fortuner na binebenta. imagine that flood of used Fortuners.

    I think so too...

To me, the possible increase in demand for 2nd hand cars next year still can't beat depreciation. I can't say this any better:
