I would suggest a City SX body. Either LXi or EXi AT. Either pre-facelift or Type Z model.
Easy to run, fuel efficient, very simplistic in design since you're a newbie driver. Low cowl, beltline and upright rear windshield shouldn't give you a hard time having a good view all around. Compact dimension shouldn't make calculations or pointing the car hard.

I suggest to go for nissan brand if youre under that price range. You get a more recent model and higher variant for a nissan vehicle compared to other brands. Maintenance is also cheap

Yeah, Sentra. Masyadong overpriced ang EKs IMO.
Or you can even take a look * 2000-ish Corolla Lovelifes.
