October 1st, 2016 01:46 PM #1Hi guys! I'm planning to buy a new pickup this month which will be used daily to ferry my kids to and from school and occasional bed load of around 500 kgs. I'm torn between these two pickups...the DMax and Calibre, both 4x2 and AT. Your inputs will be highly appreciated, thank you!

Navarra pinaka mabigat na steering. Test drive muna.
Yun Strada na 2.4 sana. Not sure kung available na sa dealerships.
New Mitsubishi Triton 2.4L MIVEC vs old 2.5L DI-D - how much more economical is the new diesel engine?
Sayang medyo mahal nga ang ford ranger.. I think they have discount though.

If it's primary use is a family vehicle, Navara. The steering is a bit heavy but the ride is the least bone-jarring. Pretty spacious too for rear passengers, but the seats are rather upright.
If it's primary use is a workhorse, Dmax. Leaf springs offer better cargo capabilities at the expense of ride quality. Since you're only bringing 500 kg of load, even the softer Navara can handle it.

Nothing really. Just a bumpy ride, like any pickup. Spec-wise, it's good.
Oh, if it matters to you, interior materials and design look cheap. Durable, but cheap. The Navara has a better interior, but hands down it's the Ranger that has the best interior in its class.

You may want to add sound deadening all around. Thats the upgrade they did on thai models.
