If you could still wait a bit longer pa...or shall I say it practice driving more pa sa current car mo. There would be lots of new 2012-13 models upcoming. Santa Fe is about to change models na in a few months or early next year na. Captiva and RAV 4 had been its looks for ages na din.

Go with the rav4 4x4 madam. Its size is just right for female drivers. Im noy into chevy baka mamaya biglang faceout nanaman yun mga models tapos mahirapan ng pagkuha g parts in the future. Santa fe is also a good choice not sure though kung may problem sa mga units ng present santa fe. If youre after for fuel consumption then you can go for santa fe since its a diesel crdi evgt engine. If youre not OC with fuel prices then go for the rav4.

More reliable kasi yun rav4 compared sa dalawa. less headaches in the future.(5-10year span). And easier to drive around town. Mahirap din kasi female driver baka kung san ka pa masiraan

The Santa Fe has proven to be decently reliable over the past few years. The Captiva, I'm not sure, but at least the diesel engine has a VM Motori fuel system, which should be relatively okay.

The RAV4 4x4 is just way too much money for what you get. The CR-V AWD is a much, much better value... or if you value comfort and economy, the X-Trail CVT may be a good bet.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

For e toss-up between SF & CRV. SF if you want best value for a diesel among your choices and CR-V if gas engine.
Fasten your seatbelt! Or else... Driven To Thrill!

Hindi sulit yung RAV4, IMHO. Wala siyang inooffer, kung hindi ang brand na Toyota and some standard features, to make its price worth it. Masyado kasi siyang mahal para sakin.

Yung Santa Fe, since 2006 pa iyan. From then, I haven't heard any major issues that affected it.

Yung Captiva, well, not so sure. Ang alam ko lang, mahal ang maintenance. Hehehe.

You can check on the X-trail since it's way smaller and probably easier to drive for a female. Or look at the current CRV if you can't wait for the upcoming one.

Pero best bet ko talaga yung XTrail, i like it. Then the Santa Fe.

There are other options that you could consider

    1. Hyundai Tucson
    2. Kia Sportage
    3. Kia Sorento
    4. Mitsubishi ASX

How much yung budget range, miss?

Rav-4 is a great car, reliable, but a bit thirsty. And expensive

Captiva.... Wag na. There are a lot of satisfied owners pero sa Chevrolet ngayon, Cruze lang ang okay bilihin IMHO.

Santa Fe is a practical midsize CUV. Huge, economical, fast and comfortable. Downside lang siguro yung maintenance cost since diesel engine siya, just spent 15K on 30,000km PMS last Saturday

The new X-Trail 2.5 CVT 4WD, a complete package. Siguro andito na lahat ng hanap mo, plus masarap i-drive ito. Downside: resale value.

CR-V.. Luma na eh. Pero ok parin, reliable car. Very spacious interior and huge luggage compartment, pero I think mas malaki yung sa X-Trail.

    Other suggestions:
    1. Kia Sportage EX (Gas)
    2. Hyundai Tucson (Gas / Diesel)
    3. Kia Sorento (Gas / Diesel) - Might be over the budget

Since the budget is big, this might be your top 4 kasi nabasa ko sa first page you want a nice interior with lots of toys.

    1. Kia Sportage DLX 2.4L Gas AWD (P1.698M)
Daytime Running Lamp (DRL), panoramic sunroof, auto climate control, rear backing camera, reverse sensors, leather seats, power adjustable driver seat, cruise control, steering wheel audio remote, 6 disc in-dash HU with 400W subwoofer, 6 airbags, stability assist, automatic damper shock absorbers, 18" wheels and many more! hehe.

    2. Hyundai Tucson GLS-Premium 4WD (P1.598M for the 2.4L Gas, P1.698M for the 2.0 Diesel)
Same features with the Sportage DLX minus the DRL.

    3. Nissan X-Trail 2.5 CVT 4WD (P1.550M)
Bi-Xenon HID, auto climate control, Touchscreen HU with backing camera, reverse sensors, leather seats, power adjustable driver seat, cruise control, rear aircon vents, etc.

    4. Hyundai Santa Fe GLS 2.2 R-eVGT 4WD (P1.788M)
Leather seats, Touchscreen HU with backing camera, auto climate control, reverse sensors, automatic headlights and wiper control, steering wheel audio remote, stability assist, 18" wheels, etc.
