May 25th, 2017 04:18 PM #61So I own both the current Swift (AT) and the Mirage G4 (CVT).
I don't find the G4 underpowered naman, even at full capacity.
Suspension: Mas matagtag ang Swift. Softer suspension sa G4, more comfy though prone to bottoming out.
A/C: Mas malakas sa Swift. (Baka dahil made for Indian weather haha)
Seating: Better shaped seats sa Swift especially for the driver pero MUCH better rear legroom sa G4. I've said this a few times here before that the Swift is notorious for the tight backseat.
Sikat ang CVT nila for this.

Pwede na yung 1.3 engine sa occassional long road trips, plus it's a toyota, cheap parts would be virtually everywhere

May 26th, 2017 12:52 PM #65i cannot say that the Mirage (regardless if it is hatch or G4) is underpowered! that was my initial thought also but when i went to Baler Aurora last Saturday morning, dun ko napatunayan kung gaano katipid sa gas yung oto ko. Convoy with colleagues na may Jazz 2010 (CVT), 2015 Vios (M/T), Nissan Urban at of course, Mirage G4 (CVT). from QC to Baler, jazz' gas tank has 1/4 left while vios has half tank left at nung chineck ko yung akin got 6 bars left since 8 bars ang tutal gas gauge ng mirage, siguro mga lagpas 1/4 lang nagamit ko? pagdating naman sa mga kurbada, wala din akong masabi, smooth at ok naman. at the end of the day, it is your call sir at tama sila, it would be best to test drive all units na napagpilian mo. hth!

May 27th, 2017 12:19 PM #69Plus, different drivers, baka yung isa mabigat yung paa or gusto ng medyo spirited driving, while the other is fuel conscious, plus yung mga passengers, if mas madami sakay, or mas mabigat yung sakay, and the cargo.
Madaming variables.

That is just for LTO purposes. LTO rounded up 399 to 400 for registration purposes. TRB/DPWH did...
