    TIA

Since ayaw niya ng Elantra, mukhang subcompact din gusto niya.

Pili ka nalang between the Vios, Jazz, City, Yaris, (Accent - wag muna may problema to sa makina), Fiesta (meron na kapatid mo).

Walang problema ang 6" DRIVER para sa subcompact. Pero makakawawa yung mga nasa likod. Since student ka, mukhang mag isa ka lang naman most of the time. Tamang tama na rin.

Well, di namin kabisado ano pa requirements ng mo/dad mo so mahirap mag recommend ng specific model/variant.

Hmm... Based on #1 and #2, the initial shortlist would be

    1.3L Ford Fiesta
    1.3L Mazda 2 Hatch/Sedan
    1.3L Vios
    1.5L Yaris

Baka pwede yung Hyundai i10 o yung Suzuki Celerio/Swift.

Lalo yung mga 5 years to pay. Once you have the rates the bank/financing is offering, you can do the math and compute which is the best deal for your family.

Med student ka naman ah. Why is the Elantra "too professional" for you? Di kaya "too good for you"? If you were looking at the Elantra before, then I suppose the budget is more or less at 800k? I suggest you check out the top of the line Accent 1.6GLS Blue instead. There are no issues with this one, you get lots of standard equipment, and it doesn't look "too professional". Not to mention that this car is very spacious, spacious to the point of rivaling the Honda City.

BI talaga ito si Chunky Di bale, I'm currently at that stage *kisses my Sonata* :naughty2: hahaha!

I dunno how can an Elantro look "professional".. pano na kaya yun saakin ede "playboy" look na ba? :D Personally, I think that attribute is good once you graduate from school. Get a white Elantra, mod it a bit, wear your suit or a tux and you'd look damn good just alighting the car.

For other options, since meron na kayo Fiesta. I'd recommend the class-leader here -- Honda Jazz. As a student, I think you'll have that urge to modify your own car once you have the funds... you won't have a problem in that department, I assure you.

I recommend the Jazz but may not fit your criteria of low DP. Honda almost never sell their units below 20% DP. The Elantra to me does not look too professional, it looks like a vehicle for college students and young people ( just right for you) Now this you can get for a low DP. I don't like the Accent though I would rather get the Vios over it.

Maybe the TS is referring to 6' (feet) not 6" (inches) . BTW, my vote goes to the common VIOS as space, maintenance & efficiency will be a plus factor. Might want to also consider the Lancer EX GLX? Surely has its sporty looks, performance and will eat uphills in tagaytay!

Better test drive the vehicles and personally see what fits you.

    6"?
Head up, or head on the middle? (smiley)

Fiesta is a good choice also even it will become a twin for your brother. Also in the long run, you can share same good things or bad things to your car because of its similarity.

Fiesta is more on looks & performance suited for most of the boys & gentlemen like us!

Puwede din Jazz. If you want to consider this or better yet get the Toyota Altis G. Bagay sa height na 6'.

Nissan will have a chinese new year promo this month. According to my SA, the Xtrail CVT 4x2 is only P88k dp and 4x4 is P98k dp only. The Sentra 200 will have P99k dp. I asked through phone only so I don't know for the other models.

Ford also gives low dp for Escape and a nice discount as well.

Both recommendation (XTrail & Escape) are guzzler bro. I'll stick with Vios since this is the most fuel efficient car (1.3 M/T) as of date.

The CVT X-Trail is not a gas guzzler

    *Titleist
That's what I want to find out but it seems my father's choice is between Escape and Tucson. Might as well choose the Tucson even if Escape's reliability is tested. The Escape is too old for a new car and I assume Tucson will be more fuel efficient than Escape.

    Nissan, launch the 2.0L CVT!!!
