what you are not telling him is how beneficial it can be for him and for his family na matuto sya sa manual. sure mahihirapan ka sa una, sure pagod pagod ka pero sooner or later magagamay mo din yan =)

take it from me pinili ko matic, nag-aral ako manual, pero real driving matic lang. hindi ako mapakinabangan ng family ko pag coding auto ko kasi manual auto ni erpats Ranger pa e ang laki nun sanay ako sa altis AT.

halos alang learning curve ang matic. manual kelangan sanayin. pag napunta ka sa ibang bansa or what not, who knows kelanganin mo pala yan.

I drive a manual and I have no problem at all. Reminds me of my Kuya's driver who only knows automatic

Although my Altis is giving me a huge headache, I would still choose it over a City. Because it's a compact.

If manual test drive the altis and slyphy 1.6 manuals. The sylphy manual will cost you just about 770k +freebies

I really want to drive a manual.

I drive a MT for like 12 years. Mapa heavy traffic, mapa uphill ng Baguio, kahit sobrang pagod. Magiging depende talaga kung trip mo ba talaga or not. Tho did replace it for an Altis CVT as my daily. Inaantok ako sa expressway honestly. Lalo na kung may mga kalaro, I dont feel the vibe

Manual is still better than Automatic - pero it only works for weekend cars. If you're going to use the car for daily city drive, please mag-automatic tranny ka na lang.

Sa una siguro, for a first few km, medyo maninibago ka when you drive Manual again, pero mabilis lang naman maka-adapt uli.

All i can say is pag bata ka pa mag manual ka na lang. Please advise on choosing my first ever car (City 1.5 VX Navi CVT vs Altis 1.6 G MT)

I think its important that you'll learn how drive in Manual kasi if marunong ka then hawak ka ng AT sisiw na lang but since na heavy traffic na dadaan mo Mag Automatic ka na lang. Nadadaan ko pala yang route mo, for a beginner driver like for sure mamatayan ka ng makina nyan at baka mapaatras ka pa sa uphill. Lalo na pag dumaan ka ng Espana going to Welcome Rotonda, Roosevelt to Delta ave., then Highway to Q.C circle. Naku sobrang traffic dyan esp. pag rush hour.

I judge people who can't drive manuals. Haha. Usually tuturuan sa driving school, but first car palang matic na so wala na talagang practice.

Actually hindi lang kabataan, but people who started driving in the last 5 years, kahit pa 40 years old ka nung natuto magdrive. Bihira nalang kasi manual ngayon.
