We see this topic being created from time to time.
From your list, have you tried doing a test drive? It will make a big factor when deciding.

There are lot of choices in that segment: the CX-5 or CX-3, Nissan Juke or Rogue, Subaru XV, Hyundai Tucson, Kia Sportage, Toyota RAV4, Tiguan, Macan, X3, MB GLC Class, Q5, etc. You choose your poison as they say, and, of course, you test drive to feel them. Yes, some are beyond your budget, but if you can raise Php1.1, there's no reason you can't raise it a little more. One thing I learn from owning cars or anything, never settle for less than your heart desires.

If I had this budget and am going for a brand new car... I'd get a base Innova for a little over 1M and then throw in foglights and a decent set of rims.

Nowhere in this price point will you be able to find a brand new car with an engine that rivals the 1GD.

Yung choices mo puro gasoline engine.

Honda HRV or check mo thread ng Nissan Juke kung ok ba. Basa ka lang maayos sa mga thread kasi minsan mga ahente nagpapangap na owner nanghahype lang.

Sabi mo "first baby" mo. Tamang tama HRV kasi maflat lahat upuan parang jazz. Pag naglong drive at nagpahinga ka sa parking area fuel station eh pwede ka makahiga comfortable.

my parents were looking at the same choices, they test drove the HRV and ASX, they liked the HRV but price wise they preferred the ASX, the HRV low end is more expensive than the high end ASX and this has leather seats and the amazing moon roof

they are just waiting for the new look ASX

If you have the option to go secondhand, I'd get a used Everest (new model). I doubt though if it will be within your price range.

If you'll get the previous generation, my top picks would be the Fortuner 2.5V VNT and Montero Sport GLS-V.

This. Take your time in the second hand market. My brother in law was lucky to find a second hand Montero GLS V for 800k with 30k mileage. Owner had it as one of his extra cars and was disposing it to get a BMW.

If you can go beyond get the xtrail. If you are staying on your budget get ASX

Pag used consider the Isuzu Alterra

If i were in your shoe the all new Innova 2.8E would be my top choice. Nothing beats the feeling of having a brand new car especially for your upcoming baby. if you can add then you might consider the all new Fort G as well. Either of the two for sure wala kang sisi sa huli.
