My family actually wants the Santa Fe, but, I read in the net that a new model, completely revamped, as what happened to Tucscon, will be launched in the late 2011, and that will be the model 2012, and we cannot wait anymore. We have to buy one and my maximum budget is 1.5 too. I am following all the threads here in regards with these models, kaya sumakit ang ulo ko. Even though, I am still reading through. I like the new style of Sorrento, and indeed the price is quite steep. Actually, we are looking for a 7 seater.

For a 6ft guy like me, panalo ang Sta. Fe at Sorento. Fortuner & Montero Sport are too cramp.
Kaya nga meron kami parehas e! (09 Sta. Fe, 09 Sorento VGT)

November 8th, 2010 02:41 PM #17my brother is 6ft din, maluwang naman sa likod kahit siya ang driver...
pero sa akin...
1. santa fe -- siya number one kasi evgt
2. montero -- siya pinakamura, very high clearance, pwede offroad

isn't this too sarcastic to be believable? mas matagtag ang Everest compared sa Fortuner, yet you are recommending the Everest...? the heavier the load of any car has, the softer the ride... baka naman nasa way ng driver how he/she handles the car kaya ka nahilo (specially in Baguio)...? hmm...
anyway, i would prefer ladder-frame chassis vehicles for rigidity...

November 8th, 2010 07:38 PM #20ala pa kami sa kennon road nun sir and punong puno kami, as in 8 adults (dalawang sobrang payat)... nasa pangasinan pa lang, nasusuka na ako... that was my first time pa naman to ride the fortuner more than 3 years ago pa... i am not sure kung yung newer fortuner ganito pa rin...
sa everest naman, i never said that everest ay hindi matagtag, and tama nga na sobrang tagtag niya, pero i've seen how the everest was used (and abused) in offroad conditions and it is really really tough kaya ang naka sulat ay:
3. everest -- tough, off-road capable, ICE kaso ala sa choices mo
4. sorento -- ok sana kaso overpriced sobra
5. fortuner -- sobrang tagtag... muntik ako masuka sa hilo nung sumakay ako sa mula manila to baguio...
lastly, my ranking is based on my OWN view/opinion of the overall SUV package... it is not based on tagtag only... naglagay lang ako ng konting explanation why based on my experience...
kung ang fortuner sa iyo ay di naman gaano matagtag... mas ok siguro tolerance mo sa tagtag and honestly, good for you and i envy you, mahiluhin din kasi ako ... kasi kahit 1st gen na crv matagtag sa akin, mas matagtag pa sa current driver ko na strada....
ika nga nila, to each his own...
I went with him at LTO's The Link satellite office nung nag-renew sya. We were given a number to...
Driver's License Renewal Process?
