    The Patrol name was not used in Japan (it was called the Safari there). The Safari name was used almost exclusively in Japan and as a trim level in the Middle East (Patrol Safari, Super Safari, etc.)

    Sa Pilipinas lang ata ginamit ng sabay iyan with one trim level only designated as 'SGL-D'. Ibang klase talaga! hehehe.

    For the local GU series, hindi na ginagamit ng 'Safari'.

    3 lang talaga comparo dito,e..pajero,patrol/safari and trooper.....

    buti wala pang gumagawa ng pathfidnder vs. terrano or wizzard vs. rodeo or rodeo sport vs MU vs AuDM jazz. o di kaya: montero vs pajero vs shogun

    ang matindi: i30 vs cefiro3.0 vs usdm maxima!

    ako ha personally, if i have the budget, ung last model ng patrol-safari, un kunin mo..kumpleto na halos yon, may front-facing ang 3rd row, factory rear diff lock, mild-moderate offroad capable na....at 2 cooler box pa diba..may cornerlamps pa!

    maghanda ka lang tuwing oilchange...hehe 2.5gals to be exact!

    and still, in-service parin ng PSG escorts mga yun. di sila pa ata nagpapalit...
