August 4th, 2014 10:12 PM #3Depends. What are your priorities? Among the three, I'd go with the Montero. It's got it's share of shortcomings, but I can live with that. You do get great engine performance, better ride comfort and more features as compared to the Fortuner.

August 4th, 2014 10:27 PM #5I have been enjoying my GLS Montero with 4 speed AT since March 2010. The current GLS V AT has 5 speed AT with VGT. However, check if a new Montero is coming on 2015.

i recommend test driving all three choices.
comfort and ease of driving are subjective.

+1 on the test drive, just to make sure which fits you best.
Though if I have the same amount of money to spend for those kind of vehicles, I'd look at the Forester 2.0L NA or Maxda CX-5 or Sorento 4x2 CRDi 5-seater unless I really need something to haul 7 people.
