Mga sir, gusto ko lang malaman kung maganda ba yung Eon? And won't it flip if an SUV doing <140km/h passes by it? Salamat sa mga magrereply! Your answers would be greatly appreciated!![]()

There's your answer.

That stuff is for urban legends. The only time I saw a car flip is because it passed thru the jet wash of a plane taking off.
Hahaha, onga naman.pero sir, i've read your review about the Mushroom-coloured Eon, it has a lot praises about that specific subcompact car. But sir, do you think Eon will be a good car for a first time car owner? During your test-drive, was it a fun car to drive? Was it easy to handle? Btw, thanks for your response po, and further responses would be greatly appreciated. :D
why don't you visit hyundai's website and request for a test drive? afaik, hyundai alabang offers test drive.

Like the others have said... test drive to see for yourself.
For a first time driver, the Eon is a good learning car. It's light and nimble and the steering is responsive. It brakes straight... which is a rarity for a car with no ABS.... especially one with such decent brakes.
And at 100 km/h, the electric steering helps keep it steadier on the highway compared to the Alto or the car I first drove long distances, the B13 Sentra (just for a laugh, borrowed one last year... yup... still weaves like a drunken master on the highway... the Sentra, I mean...). Still... despite it being relatively steady, if you're a first-timer, best to get some miles under your belt before taking it out on the highway.
The one big driveability issue is the clutch. You're definitely going to stall or bog the car once or twice. Not because the clutch is too heavy... but simply because the engine is so small. And if you learn on that car, you'll be amazed at how long the gears on everything else are...![]()

Similar to a gas MT Revo? We're "encouraging" my father-in-law to get rid of his '93 Lancer EL and get an Eon. He's used to revving high because of a dodgy clutch so no problems there. Getting him an AT at his age will be easier on the knees but it might be a SUA waiting to happenhence the Eon.
AFAIK the EON still uses cables for the clutch and throttle. Does it still have a distributor?
I just walked into Hyundai Balintawak and they actually let me test drive the vehicle the company was interested in. Hehe. Maybe they will let you do the same with the Eon. The unit they have there even has a full body kit.
No distributor. Direct ignition is actually easier and cheaper.

may nabasa ako somewhere mga sir na mabagal daw response ng eon from stop. medyo may delay daw, dahil siguro sa maliit engine and maingay daw.im choosing between k10 and eon.
