I'd go for the Picanto. Not as cheap as the i10 but seems to be a better car inside and out. In the very least, it has enough style & character points to get it beyond just a "cheap-to-buy" & "economical-to-run" car. It's also fun to drive as well if you are willing to push the little engine and tires to the limits of their performance envelope.

Car of a novice female teen....looks like a "college" car....sound and smells like a pre-owned 1.3 Honda Jazz AT for me.

my father has a peugeot 205xs. sarap i hataw, pero ang problem lang is parts talaga.. well, not that much, my dad manages to buy parts -as-per-sample... pero talagang dedication kapag ganung mga sasakyan,e...
madami tayong sub-compact dyan na worth looking, aside from the overatted toyotas and hondas. swift, mazda, aveo, getz/i20, picanto, i10, etc.....
and kung anu man makuha mo, wag ka padala sa kantsaw ng barkada, lalo na kung underated brands.
Puwede i try, 1. Palit air filter 2. Linis throttle body 3. Linis MAF sensor 4. Check spark...
