    Plus the actual mileage.

Kung laging bumibiyahe ng malayo, get a high quality oil filter and extend your OCI to at least 7,500-10,000kms. Eh di pareho na sa engine oil expense ng gas. Then the deal breaker is the cheap diesel fuel. If more on city use and short travels, yeah, a gas MT would be better also IMO.

haha talagang may pahabol pa na fit ka

pero onga, the difference of the price can be used to buy fuel... pero minsan kasi nagkakatalo sa performance & yun acquisition cost ng fuel mismo

some guys would prefer paying +1-2k month para sa diesel na sasakyan coz it consumes better & diesel is cheaper so mas less effect yun sa wallet nila?

pero same with you, i prefer driving an MT. tho sometimes driving an AT has its own perks, for example pag makunat yung clutch ng kotse mo then na-stuck ka sa traffic for 2 hours

Wala na ako bilib sa CRDi renz. The vultures have zeroed in on this particular car segment. eh dati wala naman rumerespeto sa CRDi ah, halos Ilan taon din nanakbo ang Hyundai Matrix pero Hindi naman ganyan ka gastos mag-own ng CRDi.

I must admit Isa ako sa nagpalala neto eh kse Isa ako sa mga New SF owners nun 2006. grabe ang marketing ko sa SF ko noon dito da tsikot, Kaya heto ang price premium ng CRDi vs gasoline eh the tune of 200k, tapos pag 4x4 eh plus 200k din. Katarantaduhan na yan, a SF at 2M, a Trailblazer at 1 8M

I'm going to burst the CRDi bubble. Hindi po sya matipid. Kung FC Lang NASA utak nyo, oo matipid sya pero wait 3 years and the CRDi efficiency drops, I used to record 10-11km/liter circa 2006-2008. Ngaun my CRDi sF maswerte na sa 8km/liter. WTF? di ko Alam kung dinadayA tayo ng big3 with their biodiesels mix.

Pero nun Fortuner vs SF wars namin dito nun 2006, we hurled any bashing we can think of against our cars but never the FC kasi even the Fortuner noon is more than 10km/liter. Yun ang dahilan noon why we bought diesel SUvs coz out FC's are 5km/liter better than gasoline SUVs.

Now pareho na Lang ang FC mapa gasoline or diesel. Some old diesels are registering 5km/liter, wow that's exped territory na.

milking Cow na po tayo ng big 3, pati diesel dinadayA na nila, even my Sf is not that responsive anymore, considering it's 35T km only for 6 years - rarely use it bec I live in condo - CASA maintained even if out of warranty.

better rethink your options folks, grabe talaga ang mapagsamantala ngaun.

I have a 2009 Montero 4x2 AT diesel, 32Tkm na and still getting 7-8km/Liter of Seaoil. I wanted to trade-in sana for a 2013 Santa Fe, or kahit used 2011/2012. Your comment makes me think twice about it now.

So in your opinion *popcorn, what would be a good SUV to consider? Is Santa Fe a good choice based on your own experience?

    Thanks.

Basta ako, ang consideration ko ay ang ROI ng isang higher variant, vs. the lower variant, in terms of mileage, considering the difference in the rate of fuel consumption and the difference in the fuel prices, as appropriate

And then, I factor in my average annual mileage on the ride... Para translated sa number of years or months....

Lakas nga sa diesel yung AT diesel na gamit ko ngayon or baka mataas lang talaga ang presyo ngayon ng diesel? Or matraffic lang talaga?
