The EK hatch might be expensive for your budget, but it's the best car. Unfortunately, there are no local EK hatches, so whatever you find will be an import, and will most likely be a RHD-LHD conversion.

The EG hatch comes with only a 1.2 liter engine... which means it's the slowest in terms of performance, but the best in terms of fuel economy. It's a bit overpriced compared to the ESi and LXi models of the time, and suffers a lot from roof and fender rust. Buy one only if you can get a good deal and only if you are sure that the roof isn't going to fall in.

The 97 GSR is okay. 1.6 liter engine, reasonably good handling (not as good the Civic's) and decent interior space (but the rear seat is only good for two people, not three). It's good looking, but it's not as sporty (in terms of driving) as the Civic.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

I'd go EK hatch > GSR > EG hatch

GSR ka na lang or EG hatch.Like niky said mostly RHD-LHD conversion ang EK hatch.

That happened to someone I know. He'd spent the better part of a million bucks (a few years ago) on an EK Type R hatchback, only to find out, a few months later, that the car's VIN was fake. Good thing for him the seller paid him back.

Good thing for the seller, too. He's an influential guy, and he was seriously considering having them iced. Scary...

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

mitsubishi gsr 1997 or eg/ek hatchback?
