newbie here, just want your thoughts
thanks and Godbless
They're not in the same size or price range.
The Tucson is a decent CUV, drives and rides reasonably well, and is reminiscent of the earlier CRV. The engine is peppy and the price is pretty good for what you get. I'm impressed by the headroom and legroom is decent. Cargo space isn't as good as the Japanese CUVs (X-Trail, Tribute, CRV, RAV4), but it's good value for the money.
The Jimny's small and zippy at low speeds despite its relatively puny engine. It lacks some grunt, however, and it definitely lacks space (no cargo room behind the second row). It gives you good sightlines, though, and is a great recreational off-roader due to its light weight. Its ride is bouncy, especially from the back seat. It's okay as a second car or bachelor's car, but doesn't make sense as a family car. If you're buying it for off-roading, it's a great deal, but if you're buying it as a daily driver, you can get more useable cars for the same money.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
At almost Php800k for the Jimny, you better be using it to its full [off road] potential to get your money's worth. Otherwise, you just blew Php800k on a cramped, bouncy, slow car. hehehe. A top-line Suzuki APV is a bit cheaper and sits twice as many.
The Tucson is in a different league already. It's not as rough and tough as the Jimny, but for road use it is leagues better than the Zuk.

Ayun, pretty much covered by the gurus. You just have to determine now what your priority is, and who'll be using it for what purpose. Good luck![]()
