Inspected the kingfisher blue GLS at Diamond Motor Valle Verde this afternoon, then paid the downpayment. Upgraded the tint to 3M's Magic type for an extra P4,028. They said I could take the car with me or have it delivered on Tuesday at the latest. Sabi ko may pasok ako kaya next Saturday na lang.

Guys, thanks a lot for the pieces of advice. Really appreciate it. Hopefully I can hone my driving skills so I could get my license soon. Medyo late ko na nakita ang need ng sasakyan (kahit dati, di talaga ako nagkaron ng kahit want sa kotse dahil feeling ko di ko kailangan). Pero feeling ko tumatanda na 'ko at di ko ma-pursue masyado ang hobbies ko (diving, photography) dahil walang sasakyan.

Honga, bakit binayaran ang tint? Ako pinilit pilit ko sila about sa tint na Huper Optik, bumigay naman. :D
So kung Free dapat yung tint, which is usually 3M din naman yung free, tapos you add 4K, parang 7K yung tint?

Eh baka naman kasi malaki na yung discount sayo. ahaha!

Nagsisisi nga ako kung bakit kinuha ko pa yung free magic tint from CASA. Ayan, after three months magpapa-retint ako ... walang kuwenta eh. Parang wala ka akong tint. Buwisit.

If it's any consolation, 3M Magic tint starts at P4,800 on sulit.com and the free tint the casa offers is indeed the FX type. I was told the ASX has unusually large windows/windshield.

Here are the freebies I got aside from the FX tint: mats, seatcover (I have a feeling I'll end up removing this), EWD, window visor (my bayaw says window visors are baduy) and Apple products worth P50,000 (I chose the Macbook Air which I'll end up selling because I'm not an Apple fan). ;) LTO registration worth P10,000 is free, insurance is free care of BPI).

They're installing the reverse camera I bought from Alibaba for $40 (with five-day EMS shipping) for P600 (labor). Still waiting for door sills and mud guards I bought from Ebay on Sept. 9. :D

So, would you install the window visor? :o On another note, they wouldn't install the side camera (yes, I'm a super newbie driver despite my age, hehe) from Alibaba because it requires drilling on the side mirror. Do you think Winterpine can/will do the job?

'Yung Apple promo nga pala, dalawang klase. 'Yung "fackage" 1 (sabi ng isang agent ito) Macbook Air; 'yung "fackage" 2 (sabi ulit 'to ng agent) Iphone 5 plus accessories. Gusto ko tuloy sabihin: "Minumura mo ba 'ko?" Hehe. :D

Well, window visors are helpful for me lalo na sa parking sa house - wala kasing bubong, so kapag sobrang init, binababa ko windows ng 3-4" para me circulation ng air sa loob at di naman maluto ng bongga ang dash. :grin

Mga sirs bgo lng po ako dto, bale sakto kac yun thread nto skin kya might as well join in pra me input ako from other people.. Bale gnto po yun kwento.. Una I wasn't aware na me push start/stop n pla yun gls model ng asx so when I discovered it it made my decision final to get ASX..An hirap kac mkakuha ng accurate info khit sa website ng mitsu(not updated), ngdealer hopping pko at nginquire sa mga Sales Rep including sa trinoma n me display ng asx pro mukhang di ata cla cgurado sa mga features ng product nila.. Finally I was able to confirm yun features sa citimotors.. then next step is yun color which I preferred which is Q.brown.. Again i did a barrage of inquiries for the color and found a dealer who has one, after confirmation I went on to process my application for bank financing. And the sales agent asked for reservation of 50K because their manager will not procure the unit from the plant with my PO still in process for a 5k reservation only..

So what the heck, I did my part and paid the 50K reservation expecting the unit at the end of this month.. But guess what, the sales Agent called me and told me that at the time of their inquiry of Q.brown ASX gls 2012 availabilty it was there but days after I paid they say its gone. And I don't know if this is blessing in disguise but they said the 2013 model is coming out by the end of october to november, so they said Its better to wait for it..

Anyway after 3 days ago another agent from diamond motors that I earlier encountered but has no Q.Brown ASX GLS before confirmed to me that a 2012 ASX gls Brown arrived just this morning.. I was waiting for him to tell me if there would be a 2013 ASX model coming out, but I got a reply about 45mins later.. He then confirmed that yes a 2013 model was coming this late october( imagine they won't divulge this to dispose earlier models first and I also got this info that some agents/dealers would even give a 2011 model and change the year model thru some miracle work thru LTO).

Now I am confuse whether to wait for the 2013 or get this 2012, by the way Im trapped with the other dealer because of the 50k reservation which I know is refundable but I doubt I can get in 2 weeks time(I know someone who got his refund 5 weeks later for a 5k reservation only).. My budget includes that 50k. Theres no updated price for this 2013 unit yet but the sales agent said it won't be much and he could arrange for the discount to just balanced out from the price of the 2012 model..

Im getting impatient but seems to be I just have to wait..

I think P50k is too much. In my case I had to wait for a month to "chance" upon the color I wanted. It was really by chance that I learned about its availability. I went ahead and grabbed the chance. I didn't deposit a centavo for them to pull out the unit from the warehouse/another branch (not sure which one because of conflicting stories).

Which dealer asked you to make the deposit? The sales agents can be quite incompetent. I suggest you talk to the team leader or the sales head and ask if you can still get a brown one.
