+ tama ka dyn sir, just like it's ancestor, the toyota REVO 1.8 (which has a big "KAHA" but with a small powerhouse) hindi naman ganon kahirap tumakbo...remember nag-match na rin ang adventure sa revo noon,
ok kung 1.8 siguro yung avanza pwede, pero sa ngayon adventure muna kahit medyo old school na yung design.subok na yung tibay ng engine nya...
pwede rin yung x-wind XT...

March 7th, 2011 10:05 PM #4Compared to the gasoline version of the Adventure, Revo & Innova. The Avanza is lightweight and uses a 1.3 engine. It's one of the most frugal 7 seater MPV. The cost of using 2.0liter gasoline MPV/AUV/SUV is 50+% additional fuel cost vs the diesel AUV. While the Avanza will range from 5-10% additional fuel cost vs the diesel AUV. The diesel AUV headache is when it fails the smoke emission test. Wherein you have to get the injection pump calibrated or fixed.

March 10th, 2011 02:28 PM #6Space wise, Adventure kahit siksikan okay lang. kapag sa Avanza, kung siksikan kayo, parang lata ng sardinas sa sobrang sikip.
Try considered Suzuki APV Type II? Maluwag din ang loob non and Coil Spring ang suspension nito. (Yun Previous model including the Base model (Type 1) Leaf Spring ang gamit na suspension).

i even saw an avanza taxi in Legazpi a month ago while i was there, and instead of the common seat configuration in the rearmost part (bench-facing type), its configuration is just like a common tamaraw fx/revo/adventue/crosswind rear most seats (which is side folding rear seats). parang siksikan kung titingnan mo.
Generally speaking sa lahat ng liquid tire sealant.... Not advisable. Pwede as an emergency last...
