April 19th, 2017 07:18 PM #1Hi Masters,
My mom and I are planning to acquire our second vehicle. Our 1st vehicle is a Mitsubishi Mirage G4. My mom wants our second to ba an MPV.
We've narrowed our choices on these 3 vehicles.
1. Avanza E MT
2. Adventure GLS MT
3. Ceosswind XT MT
May I know your expert opinion on the above vehicles.
Thanks in advance.

April 19th, 2017 08:20 PM #2What's the purpose of the incoming car? How many passengers are you expecting on a daily basis? Diesels are usually suggested as cargo haulers or people movers for their low down torque.

For the occasional long drive...
I will narrow your choice to the Avanza and Adventure...
I believe the Crosswind XT does not have a 7 seater option...
(kawawa kasi yung isang sasakay sa likod na side facing)
Avanza may be newer... But I find the Adventure a little ahead thanks to its Diesel Engine.

The Adventure is better for hauling and has more space than the Avanza. Big plus too that it's a diesel. However, it lacks any safety features whatsoever and isn't as refined as the Avanza.
As a daily car for city driving plus occasional out-of-town duties, I would prefer the Avanza.
However, since you're considering the Crosswind XT (933k) and Adventure GLS (965k), why not just go for the Innova J (1.038M)?
Yes, the Innova is 100k more expensive, but it's MUCH, MUCH better than the Adventure, Crosswind, or Avanza.
More space, more power, more fuel efficient, more safety features, better ride. It will definitely be worth it.
