It's still your choice. If you think the space of the Yaris would suffice, then go on. If you really think you need a trunk then the City would be then again, best.

You might also want to visit several dealers if you have time for you to finalize the amount of discount that can be given to you. For sure it wouldn't be only staying * the 30k mark, it could be higher or worse lower. If you do good in haggling discounts then it's a plus for you.
tidus1203: Noted. Thanks for the advice.

renzo_d10: My parents will decide on the available space part but I really think that the City wins in that category. But everything else that the Yaris has is just way more worth it than what the City offers.

Yung sa discount, siguro magagawan ng paraan yan. But in the first place I don't really think my parents will consider the Yaris just because it doesn't have a trunk. We've had our share of "How I wish our car was bigger" moments with the Civic during the rare occasions na napakarami naming dala and I guess the Yaris, despite how feature-packed it is, just isn't practical for our family.

Looks like my sights are set back on the Honda City. Naalala ko ang aming EPIC baggage debacle last May when my family went to Pansol for an overnight trip. We're such pack rats and we brought more stuff like three cakes and a lot of party favors (surprise party ksai for some of my parents' friends, tapos si MOm yung organizer) that I ended up carrying my laptop on my laps the entire trip, and Mom was kidding she felt like she was in an airconditioned car trunk with a seat. ). I don't really know how we can survive such conditions kung Yaris na car namin. )
